Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Phone, 6.53 ”Full Screen, MTK Helio G85 Octa-Core Processor, 13MP Front and 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP AI Quad Rear Camera UK Version (Green, 4+128GB)

I bought it for a friend who is elderly and profoundly deaf and who was looking for a bargain replacement mobile phone. I wasn’t sure if she would like it or be willing to try a different brand to her usual Samsung. I had nothing to worry about as she loves it. She said that she finds the text on the screen much easier to read than on her old Samsung but also she can hear callers a lot easier. I had to it set it up for her and while doing so I wished that I did not waste my money on the Samsung I just bought for myself. Compared to the Samsung this phone was a pleasure to use as it is smooth, responsive and has no bloatware that I could see. Putting this phone next to my A70, I couldn’t believe how identical they looked. Just minor access features and the positioning of the back camera and finger sensor. It took no time to set it up and massively helped by the “copy my data” app. I can highly recommend it and I would not hesitate to buy it for myself when it is time to replace my phone.

OK! took delivery of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and to be honest for the price I think it's a superb bit of kit, but with most things that are great yet have a cheap price tag it comes loaded with bloatware. Some of the Xiaomi bloatware can be removed by simply deleting the apps, other app bloatware Xiaomi installed which eat up resources will need to be removed by someone that knows what they're doing as they cant be deleted by conventional means, a trip to your local mobile phone tech will be required to remove this junk-ware as i call it for the novice. Value for money i give 5 stars, same for fingerprint reader, haven't rated face recognition as i haven't set it up as i switch from having a beard to not having a beard.

This phone has ticked all my boxes, not only is it nice to look at, the phone is very strong and feels robust.I needed a new phone and I hate buying things online sometimes especially when it's not a known name as the other brands. But this phone is worth the money and has everything I need to stay on top of my daily task. Listen forget the fact that you have never heard of the name before and try it. you won't send it back. I even came to learn that 3 of my family members all bought this same brand and we are all very happy with it. I've had it for about 4 weeks now so I feel comfortable leaving my review.

Bought this as a quick buy for my husband the day his old phone died..He is very happy with it. the resolution is amazing and it's super fast. The screen size is a perfect fit in the palm of the hand.

Toght'y expectations for a phone are pretty low. Turn on, make phone calls, text and take photo or videos.This phone is the slowest phone ever... Worked fine for a day and then took 5min to open the camera or switch app. You can't leave anything open I the background or it's even slower.Decided to return it...

This is my second Redmi phone and I cannot fault them. For the price you pay you'd think they won't be great, but I won't be going back to Samsung/iPhone again. Highly recommended
