Well, another graet DVD from the Martha empire. This time, she takes us into the more neccessary aspect of everyday life which is called "dinner". For some a dreaded word, for others, a stumper, and for some, a need for something with a different taste to it. How I miss the old Martha Stewart show before she had a live audience, talk show format and had to pretend to be a more tasteful version of Rachel Ray. The perfection that Martha pursued on those old shows -- covering the side of her house with metal latticework and branches, showing us the gardens and endless home decor splendor of Turkey Hill -- can now only be recaptured on the Martha Stewart dvd collections. My favorite is Martha's Favorite Family Dinners, none of which are overly complicated or too time consuming. My husband, who has no interest in cooking, actually watched the entire dvd, making requests for certain dishes. The price of the dvd was worth it for the chicken marsala and lemon chicken cutlet recipes alone. Delicious and very quick and easy to prepare. I own several Martha Stewart dvd collections but this one is my favorite and the one I refer to the most when I want a quick tasty recipe. And as a nice surprise there are some genuinely funny bloopers included.

Not only are the recipes excellent and detailed - these are standard holiday dishes made with slightly different touches and Martha has some clever tricks up her sleeves and cupboards that will give your usual recipe an added twist sure to please your family and guests.On a side note. I give this DVD to all of my friends with babies (who can't get them to sleep) the added bonus of this DVD ... is that if you play it in the background while getting a fidgeting baby to sleep ... Martha's very soothing voice will lull you child to sleep within 10-15 minutes. It works wonders (provided that there isn't a medical reason behind the sleeplessness.) Works like a charm. So ... thank you, Martha, on more than one level.

After the Halloween Ideas DVD would not play, we spot checked our other gifts and the first recipe spot checked (Chicken Chili) didn't play.2 out of 3 purchased in one order were defective, and since purchased as Christmas gifts early (Aug 2022), we basically bought 2 useless DVDs tasty cannot be returned.

This is a good dvd for very simple cookery. I guess i was hoping for some more inspirational recipes. This is a good dvd for someone just starting to cook as Martha keeps is simple in terms of ingredients and basic recipes. This is not for those watching carbs as there is a lot of pasta and breadcrumbs etc in the recipes. Well presented and enjoyable to watch various other cooks in the kitchen with Martha.

I Purchase this Martha stewart for my mom for Christmas and she love this Dvd. my mother watch this all the time and she love it. the dvd plays vary good. the food looks so good. I wish Martha was able to get through the tv so she could cook for me and my mom.. we Just simply just love this dvd. great to watch and learn some things along the way. I say to any one buy this dvd and see for your self. I know you will like it.

Enjoy her shows, she does a good job explaining her recipes. Do not enjoy it much when she has a guest, except her mother,I really liked her mom. I have not liked any of her other guests, they keep interrupting each other, "annoying" !!

I love Martha Stewart and I am happy to have this cooking collection. Many great recipes with Martha to guide you through each step. This is a wonderful collection with great tips and ideas. I am please with my purchase that arrive quickly and in excellent condition. I would buy again from this seller.
