When the rubber gasket is securely in the groove, the bottle keeps ice from melting for 8 hours, even in direct sunlight. However, the bottle's 11" (29 cm) circumference is too big for any cup holder I've come across. The top loop makes it easy to carry, but it's heavy when full and leaks a little when horizontal, even when locked. I use it to stay hydrated through the day at my office job. If I had to carry it around more, I might not like it as much.

I'm a bit of a water bottle enthusiast. I have purchased a few water bottles from various companies over the years. Each of them having their unique features and strong points. I have used a few that I liked but had always found one thing I disliked about the bottle which I has wished was better. That is not the case with the Owala 32oz bottle. This thing is fantastic. The straw and mouth piece work flawlessly when drinking from it (no squealing or leaks). The folding hideaway lid with a locking mechanism is also perfect. The bottle keeps water cold for hours, had a very nice matte finish feel, and all around just looks super sharp. I highly recommend this bottle to those seeking the the best water bottle on the market that not only looks great but also functions flawlessly. 10/10, A+

Its a lot bigger than I thought. I love the Owala brand. This cup is very sturdy and durable. It really does keep water cold all day. Very nice.

I like the water bottle design and how cold it keeps my water, but this bottle does leak quite a bit if it is not upright. Sometimes the straw will get loose and it becoming difficult to drink from.

I have never found a water bottle that keeps liquid cold for more than a few hours. I can leave this overnight and half the day and it'll be as cold as if I just put ice in it.

I love these water bottles this is my second one to buy! They keep drinks ice cold for so long! Just be careful leaving it in a warm environment because when you open it your drink will shoot out through the straw. It’s funny though.. lol great buy!

This water bottle is good in all ways except for one. It keeps everything cool, a good size, etc. yes the straw gets dirty but you just need a straw cleaner. The problem is that even when locked, it leaks horribly. If I put it in my backpack for 5 minutes everything is soaked. It’s annoying to have to carry it around everywhere instead of put it in my bag. Just buy a different model.

Ice melts super fast, cannot compare to ie takeya, klean kanteen, hydroflask… which keeps it solid for 24+ hours.

I have the biggest size - the cap does not close fully and it leaks, maybe I got a faulty one but it leaked while i followed all the instructions.

Love this product! Didn't realize how big 32oz was but that's totally my fault. I wish they sold a smaller 16oz or something like they do on their website! Would recommend to friends/family.

I previously bought an Owala water bottle from London Drugs and I absolutely love it, so much that I wanted to purchase another larger size. Quality control must've missed this batch because the straw portion that you drink out of was completely filled in with plastic, like the mold was still in there from manufacturing, the lock option didn't work we couldn't slide it over and the handle was super stiff to flip over. This was immediately returned. I ended up purchasing a larger size from London Drugs again and it's excellent. So the product is fantastic, but this particular one on Amazon was garbage. So bizarre.
