If I actually liked the balm I would give it 5 stars, but it smells like cupcakes! I know the ingredients in this are really amazing and don't dry out the lips and I do find that to be true. However the smell is SO strong and there is a background smell of like hemp or beeswax. I think its hemp, its a very natural vegan sort of smell. The tint on the balm is practically non existent though, which I intended as I got the lightest color. Its a little sparkly but if you have dry lips it will cling to those areas. Not attractive. I use it about an hour before bed to moisturize and heal my lips while I sleep, but I don't always reach for it because of the smell. Love the seller though and really recommend them. The packaging is also really beautiful on the balm so It would make a great gift for someone outdoorsy maybe. I love this lip balm from Pacifica. Not only is it nourishing on my lips, it has wonderful ingredients. I purchased this lip balm because it's cruelty-free and vegan. The packaging and presentation of this product is beautiful.The formula is soft, not overly scented and smooth when I apply it on my lips. It adds a very sheer tint of pink colour. It's work appropriate too.This lip balm is formulated without carmine, parabens, phthalates, petroleum or beeswax. Some lip balms on the market contain lanolin and beeswax to keep one's lips moisturized and hydrated. I find that Pacifica's lip balm is able to do the exact same thing to my lips, by keeping them hydrated, without the use of animal ingredients. I will definitely be repurchasing this product when mine runs out.
