My search is over.
I've been searching for a good heat protectant. It has been so difficult to find a product that works great AND smells good, I was doubting a product existed that would check all the boxes, that didnt cost 40$ for 0.5oz. This stuff smells great! Classic Aussie scent. The mist is perfect, not too much or too little. It's easy to control how much your applying because of the handy pump spray. Now for the important part, the actual performance of the product. Throughout my search I've learned a lot of these thermal protectors are no more than a leave in conditioner with a fancy name. A stylist showed me in salon how a real thermal protectant blocks heat, by spraying my hand and running the blow dryer over my hand. The spot with the product never got warm but the skin all around it definitely felt the heat, I was mind blown, so I've started checking for myself. Because I refuse to pay $30-$40 for a small amount like those sold in salons. So without telling my husband what I was doing I sprayed his inner wrist and ran the blow dryer over his wrist and asked where he feels the heat. He was then also mind blown and shouted whoa, I cant feel any heat where you sprayed that stuff, what is it? So I promptly washed my hair and tried the product. It's amazing I've never used a hair primer before, but I will never not use one now. Primer and heat protectant that smells great. Winner winner! Soft smooth hair, not sticky or hard to brush after the fact. My hair is not weighed down and maintains its shine and bounce. The best part is no crunch or dryness that I've begun to loathe from so many other products that say they are heat protection.

Holy Grail
Not only does Prime & Proper do what it is set out to do with heat protecting, priming and making my hair smell amazing, it also works wonders on my waves to refresh them on 2nd day hair. I spray it on my wet hair after I wash it and brush it through, I follow that up with hair oil and hair cream which I scrunch a little and then let air dry. Once dry I style as usual. For 2nd day hair I spray it in my dry hair and scrunch and it magical revives my waves and curls without weighing them down. All I need is a little more styling cream to tame any slight frizz and I am good to go! I hope Aussie never stops making this and if possible can make it in a larger bottle so it last longer. That is honestly the only reason I deducted a star for Value for Money. Us long haired girls need more product because you can go through this spray so quickly at the size it is currently sold for.

Good
Smells really good and made my hair a little softer than it would be without leave in conditioner. I didn’t really notice any other benefits though.

Aussie Hair Primer and Treatment
My hair is thick, between straight and sometimes wavy medium length to my shoulders. lots of products weight down my hair down this doesn't. I used it after I take a shower dried my hair with my towel before I put any hair products in hair. It's smell good. It's not sticky and not oily either at all. I started using few days ago.

It’s interesting
Typically when I buy products from Aussie it works really well for me but this, I don’t know. They say they don’t have parabens, but it does have peg-40 which makes me a bit uneasy. Because I personally think pegs are just as bad as parabens. Also when I spray it on my hair and into the air. It slightly makes me get a headache, and I don’t particularly like the smell, I think it does really help my hair, but between the smell and th headache I’m not to sure if this is worth it🤷🏽♀️
