This dispenser is a little bigger than I though my but I love it. The bags that come with it are so thick, the dispenser feels sturdy and it’s attractive. My only flaw is that the bag roll is a little tight when you go to get a new bagUpdate at year 3: I still use this bag holder every day but have noticed the threads are slipping and the base is not as secure as it used to be and falls off on occasion.

Update: my dog got loose again and this time, I ran after her and accidentally step on this piece twice. It cracked very badly but didn't break!!! The 2 pieces can still snap together but not strong anymore due to the cracks. After this, I used the one from the bulk waste bag from amazon, and that thing is too thin and hard to adjust the bag. Have to go back and buy this again!!! Better than most out there.I attach this to my dog leash. She got loose with the leash twice and ran around the neighborhood pulling this. I thought it broke in 2 pieces but nope, just the normal 2 pieces you would open to refill the waste bag. Afterward, I just need to snap and twist them back together and work again (with scratch of course)! Will see if it break when my dog got loose again but so far we love it.

I've been using Tug Dog Waste bags for my pups entire life! I like that they are unscented, sturdy, and not too transparent. Nobody needs to see my dog's poop, so it is nice that it's opaque for the most part. I also like that they are bright orange so my neighbors can see I do my duty and pick up my dog's doody :)

I purchased this at the end of December and it’s now mid-February and it’s malfunctioning. I previously owned the Earth Rated brand but sillily wanted a black bag dispenser to match my leash. Shortly after the return window ended the base started falling off during walks and doesn’t catch when screwed in. This all began after I changed the first roll of poop bags so my impression is this product is not meant to last. The plastic is cheap feeling with this product. I’m going back to using my Earth Rated and I suggest your purchase a different brand. Unfortunately you get what you pay for and the pricing for this was too good to be true.
