Love the style and fit of this dress, but the dress I received is not new. No tags on it, stains under the armpit and the straps for the hanger have been cut off. Don’t like the idea of paying $209 for a used dress. Very unhappy.

I was going to wait until I showered and did my makeup but I couldn't wait to try on for the fit. OK so I'm not as thin as I used to be but this dress hides all major flaws and I wasn't even wearing Spanx. I'm 5'5" size 14 with a pot belly. Hourglass figure with huge (38G) boobs and dress doesn't emphasize. I bought this for a wedding in July but will plan to wear year round for any future fancy event. I'm in love. Can't wait to wear!

For another wedding I decided to buy a second Alex Evenings compression dress becouse the first one fit perfect! size 12. 56 years old, 3 sons, my body is not what it used to be! I am larger on top and it is VERY HARD to find a nice dress that accommodates the ladies elegantly. I am also one who tends to wear black to help hide my aging body. They were out of stock so I bought the charcoal. I am so glad that I did! The Charcoal has a touch of blue color in it that really dressed up the color. I haven't felt that good in a dress in years! I lost a few pounds from my first dress, so I 10 would have fit also, but becouse of the material, it looked fine. My next delema.... I have another wedding in November, and hope they make the same dress with long sleeves! Hint :)

I am 35/30/35, 128 lbs and debated between getting a size 4 petite or size 6 petite. I ended up getting the size 6 which fits me nicely everywhere except in the chest. If I had a 38" bust, then this dress would look perfect on me. So I had to wear a wonderbra with an insert to put some padding in the chest area. Then it looked ok. I think size 4 would be too tight around the waist and be difficult to zip up although it might have fit better in the chest. The size 6 zipped up to a comfortable snugness. I like the fabric and I wasn't bothered by the raw seams at all. It's laser cut so it's really clean at the seams. I saw a $800 designer dress at Neiman's that was laser cut so I'm ok with that. I'm pleased with the dress and looking forward to wearing it at my nephew's upcoming wedding!

This is an AMAZING dress. As everyone has said, it hides any flaws or lack of a six pack. I'm 5'9" and about 150 pounds, very long legs, very short waisted. My issue is always my bust, 38DD. I bought a size 12. This dress fits beautifully and is elegant. It is comfortable. It drapes in all the right places. I liked it so much I bought it in the navy, then for another event in the bright turquoise for a summer reception, and now I'm looking at buying it in the burgundy. I know I'm going to hear from my friends that I have to stop buying multiple colors of the same thing, but I am here to tell you, if you're worried about maybe not being in the best shape you've ever been in and wanting a dress that makes you feel confident, comfortable, and feeling your best, this is THE dress. I cannot encourage you more to buy this dress. I originally bought a 10 and 12, and while the 10 fit, it was a bit tight, but the 12 just looks amazing. Buy it!

I bought for my daughter's wedding. It fit beautifully. Everyone wanted to know where I got it. The fabric is so nice. I will be ordering another in black for my wardrobe. This is a splurge that is well worth the money! Highly recommend. I am 5'4" and 160 pounds. Bought size 10 and needed no alterations. If I had a little more time I might have hemmed it slightly but it was still so nice at the length it came in!!! This is a must buy item!!!

I needed a dress for my son's wedding and went to a bridal shop to try on dresses. One dress in the store was the best seller due to the design and the material. It has spandex so it helps hide any imperfections. The dress was very expensive so I took a picture of the label and checked on Amazon. I found the exact dress for half the price and it is beautiful. The size is exact and im 5'9" and the length is just as the model is showing.No matter what size you are this dress will look fantastic on.

I bought a size 6 in red. It fits beautifully and the fabric is stretchy and extremely comfortable. I was a little thrown off when I noticed no hem and no seams....but it's laser cut fabric and that's how its done I guess. It's different and not always perfect cuts but now that I'm used to the idea I like it. The dress it'self is gorgeous and very flattering to the figure. I'm 5'1 and 126 lbs. Size 6 was perfect. The length is perfect also...just below the knee. It cannot be hemmed so make sure your length is OK. The neckline is fabulous too because the fabric folds in a way that you can choose a low neckline or a more covered and demure look (which is more flattering for someone like me, over 60). The fabric is substantial, draping nicely over the tummy area and because of the thickness, it doesn't show bulges. I love this dress so much I'm getting another color also.

I loved this dress as not only is the style classic and beautiful its very forgiving. The shoulder width and bust area covers tastefully but still looks sleek but best of all the slight gathering effect camouflages imperfections in all the right places. I am usually a size 4-6 in the hips/thighs but I ended up having to reorder a size 2 and still had a little wiggle room so would size down as the stretchy and high quality thickness fabric makes it very comfortable. Looking forward to an opportunity to wear it again!

I bought as a Mother of the Bride dress for a garden wedding. This Size 6 fit perfectly. It is stretchy and comfortable and no-fuss. The fabric is fairly thick, but it was fine for a hot (25 degree C) day.

This dress was classy and beautiful and fit perfectly. I received multiple compliments. Very figure flattering and slimming. Looked everywhere and then found this on Amazon. Delivery was next day and on time. Best buy ever!
