Q: Is it possible to have 12 gauge wire soldered instead of 16?

Hello, the biggest speaker wire I found in our shop was 14 ga. I can also leave the wire out if you want to install a 12 ga. yourself? If I leave the wire off, I will install the terminal and screw it in but not silicone it into place so you can access the leads. Thank you!
