Really nice 3 year baby book
Starts wit info about “mummy and daddy”. Moves into the before you were born section (when we found out about you, due date, shower info, mummy’s cravings, names considered, etc. as well as room for a mom and dad picture and an ultrasound pic.Next section is “your first year” with basic info (when baby was born, where, weight, length, who was there. Etc,) and first pictures. There are places for hand and foot prints. Headlines on the day baby was born, weather, popular songs, leader of the country. There’s a place for the birth announcement. There’s info about where the family lived when baby was born. Heck there’s even a spot for a photo of the family garden - don’t have one? The photo spots are labeled where the photo goes. So just cover it with a different home photo and no one will know that space was for a garden. There also info about fave foods, first visitors, etc.The other two years are similar but without the first days sections. The final section is “how you grew and changed”. It starts with a “your development” graph to track weight, length, eye color, hair colour/type for year one. There’s abplace for tracking teeth. Lots of spots for pics. Messages from family, etc.The sections have color codes tabs printed on the page so if you want to get to year two without having used the attached ribbon bookmark? Pull open the orange section. There’s an envelope slot attached to the back inside cover for storing documents. There’s also an elastic closure.Super nice book.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this book!!!
Out of pure excitement, I bought several baby books before my kid was even born, then was given two more after. I just really didn't care for any of them once I really got into them. The spaces for recording information seemed lackluster and like stuff that wouldn't really be meaningful to an adult rereading this book or to the parent reliving the special baby years of their life. Not to mention, I really wanted something that allowed me to mindfully record her important moments interspersed with information about life as it was for us here and now - especially with all of the Covid things happening, that's such a big piece of history to leave unmentioned.I love that this book allows me to write more in depth about life as it is today, the history of my husband and me (as well as other family members), things about what my daughter liked to do or the simple details of when she wakes up and goes to sleep. Those are pieces of infomration that could be lost with time or loss. I look forward to being able to record information for her in it for several years. The one thing I do feel should be mentioned is that this book is British in origin I guess, so everything that would say "Mommy" for Americans says "Mummy." Overall, books like this are a really personal choice, but for me this one was the right baby book for me and my daughter. I highly recommend it for any parent that thinks mindfully about the keepsakes and memories they plan to someday share with their children.

Smaller and More Modern than Past Baby Books
The Frances Lincoln Baby Book is a great way to memorialize baby’s first days and even the days before the baby is born. It was insightful of the authors to even include spaces to reflect on baby’s firsts. The pocket at the back can hold mementos such as baby’s first hair cut, announcements, drawings, photos and keepsakes. While my older children have larger baby books, I prefer this one by Frances Lincoln because while it is smaller in size, it is more inclusive of what modern special baby moments should be included such as baby’s first ultrasound picture, baby’s first nickname, how the birth was told to everyone, family pets, and my favorite was including the family tree and even the cousins. The “Life So Far” section suggested taking a photo of baby in the same place over several years to show how much the baby has grown from year to year. I have done this with my children and the end result is very special. The last section of this book includes “Messages from Your Family” and this allows even the smallest of other family members to record their thoughts and feelings about the new baby.

Not For Me
This baby book is long and unstructured. It covers the first 3 years of life and has plenty of “any day records” so you can pick a date & write whatever happened that day.Personally, I need more prompts to remind me to write stuff down.I like how it has a table of contents, a ribbon to mark your place, an elastic to keep the book closed, & a pocket in the back for memories. I also really like that it has a space for family to write messages to the baby as well. Some of the photo spaces are small, so you need to plan to cut some photos to size. This is a great baby book for someone who is creative and will remember to fill out the book for 3 years. I am not that person.

Love this baby book...
I got this for the newest addition to the family tree... and I love the any day pages, a reminder that any day can be a special day, and that babies don't just change or do something "noteworthy" on birthdays, anniversaries, and other days we've pre-marked on calendars, they do things on their own schedule. Can't wait to start filing this in, for baby to start sleeping through the night... and then for baby's wake up time to change... as someone recently teased baby books ask when the first tooth came in and was lost, most don't bother to ask when the last baby tooth came in, as if parents are no longer paying attention -- but the any day pages mean parents can note all the little moments that matter to them.
