So far, I'm very impressed
So far, I'm very impressed. Haven't actually gone for a run with it yet, but I'll update this review as I stress test the product :PI bought this along with the Audio Technica CKP500 earbuds for working out and I'm pretty sure these products were made for each other, haha. they have an option for a shorter cable which is perfect for using them with this armband and the cord to the left earbud is shorter so they both reach and equal distance (only if the band is on the left arm of course). They're also waterproof like this which is super awesome. The audio isn't that great, but they're really cheap and I would definitely recommend them to anyone also buying this band.I honestly bought this because it was one of the cheapest I could find and was expecting it to perform like so, but this product is made of some very high quality materials. It's made of a very durable rubber/leather like material that is completely waterproof, a plastic cover covers your iPhone without inhibiting the touch aspect AT ALL (which is a pretty crucial part of the iPhone), and the velcro that holds the band around you arm is very, very sticky... I didn't know quality velcro existed, lol.I'm sure this band works for people with very large arms... unless you're like Ronnie Coleman or something, but if you're Ronnie Coleman, let's face it, you're not running anywhere.

Never get lost again armband!
I got this to go over my motorcycle jacket and glove so I can use the GPS in my iPhone. It fits my iPhone 5 (in its case) perfectly. My bike only has one place to mount a GPS and mine is outdated, so I want to use the WAZE app in my phone. This comes on the tail of a little jaunt I took weekend before last. I wanted to visit Cave Springs, which is close to Rome, GA. Not a problem, (thought me) but somehow I went in the opposite direction to Cave Springs and ended up in Summerville, GA. I have the WAZE app in my phone and my iPad, both of which were under the seat of my bike.Gassed up in Summerville and headed "left" assuming this was south. After I crossed the Alabama state line, I realized I was NOT heading in the right direction. When I get lost, I do a bang up job of it.This armband will hold the phone over my wrist/forearm where I'll be able to see it easily. With my bare finger on the outside of the clear plastic case, I can also move from application to application. If the sun is hitting it just right where I can't read it, I can bring my left arm up in front of my face without losing sight of the road ahead of me. (Ostensibly)Sometimes I amaze myself with my ingenuity. So I put the never get lost again armband to the test today, 5/8/16. Riding along checking my arm, it dawned on me that a much better utilization would work. When I stopped, I put the armband and my iPhone over the brake fluid cylinder!! It's much better placement and when I'm going about 35mph, I can even hear the voice in my WAZE application trying to direct me.When I started out, I must have touched something on the face of the phone and the poor voice kept trying to direct me in another direction. She kept saying "in 0.1 miles, turn right; TURN RIGHT." She was getting quite insistent too, until I finally stopped and entered the right place. So my brilliant adaption of the armband into phone/GPS holder over the brake cylinder works very well and I am very happy with my "poor man's GPS holder.

Great buy and great service!
This company is great! They actually emailed me personally to check on if I had received my band and how it was working out for me. I had received it and used it just that morning. It fits my iPhone 5s great, and I don't have to take off my case either (UAG case) which I'm happy about because I like the extra protection. I have my own dog walking business and was carrying around my phone uncomfortably before getting my band. Now I can strap it on my arm, plug in my headphones, and walk with no worries about dropping it. Dogs can definitely catch me off guard at times and there was definitely a risk before of breaking my phone by just holding it in my hand. I also run and do HIIT, so the band is perfect for allowing me to listen to during my daily workouts! I would for sure recommend the SpartanFive to anyone looking for a good, durable arm band :)

Good value, works well, I like it!
I give this four stars because I haven't yet used it but two times. It arrived a day earlier than I expected, which was awesome. I purchased this for my walks (only walking, not running) since the weather is cooling down and I won't be wearing my shorts with pockets, but leggings without pockets. So, the odor is virtually non-existent, I know some have complained about that. I did stick my nose in it, and it smells like neoprene - what a surprise. While wearing it I noticed no odor. I do not take the case off of my iPhone 5 and I can use my phone through the clear plastic sleeve covering my phone. It was a little difficult to attach to my arm over my sweatshirt, so I put the band through the slot and velcroed it as close as I could and then I slid it up my arm, over my sweatshirt and tightened it. It stayed put, and I just slid it down again instead of taking it apart again. After more use, I will probably come back and give this a fifth star!

So far so good, keeps phone dry.
I've only used it twice, but so far so good. iPhone5 fits in just fine (without any other case) and the screen operates perfectly through the protective plastic. Despite my arm and the band being soaking wet on the back after my workout, the phone was completely dry inside. My workouts are about 30-45 minutes, I noticed no build up of moisture inside like other armbands I read about. I have fairly small arms for a guy and when I first strapped it on it seemed too big for me, but there are two different slots to strap it through, and the one closer to the band worked perfectly, so I can't imagine this not fitting anyone over the age of 10.If I had a request it would be to add a slot so I can plug in the recharger without taking it out. I'll just add one myself. I've already upgraded my phone, so my iphone5 is now solely my workout device. I'd prefer to never have to take it out of the band.I'll edit if the thing falls apart before it should, but for right now I'm very happy.
