Durable, Good Size
This head is so durable. We purchased this for sculpting masks on. It works really well. The plastic is really thick and will not damage easily. My only recommendation is that if your purchasing this for sculpting or placing heavy things on this head, is fill up with sand or bolt it down. The head is pretty heavy, but with many pounds of clay on it may cause it to tip. A dented sculpture can be a cause for stress! The price of this is perfect, and I will be buying a female head soon to do female Halloween masks. As a sculptor, and kind of a perfectionist the only thing that I noticed that one eye is higher, so when I sculpt I will have to take in account. Other than that the male head will work perfectly for everything that I need to do!

Good product...
This is a good sturdy display head. My only comment for improvement on this, would be that the join-lines could be improved by smoothing them out so there are no sharp edges. This would be a good improvement when displaying expensive silicone masks.

Close in size to a life size male head
In a world where mannequins can get quite expensive and the cheaper options are generally too small... This mannequin head is a great buy. I am 6'2" and have a medium-large head, this is about as close to my head size without going through the pain of making a head cast.I'm using it with monster clay to sculpt a Halloween mask. The surface is slightly textured so the clay holds easily. The head is about 98% symmetrical; not perfect but very close. It's a sturdy plastic, but the head is quite light in weight. There is a ~4" hole on the bottom of the base. I attach a lazy Susan from the hardware store with some screws to the base. Then I stuffed in an old 5lb soft scuba diving weight in the bottom (bag of sand would work just as well) to keep the head weighted down.Definitely no way I could've gotten this far sculpting a mask without this head and lazy Susan base. Named him Lazy Larry!
