Ok, this is a funny product if you don't need it for a serious reason, like keeping a breathing tube in place or something like that, so no offense is meant by my review. I was interested in trying this because lately I've been waking up with the most horrendous dry mouth and my snoring has amplified to a level that startles ME awake nearly every night. I have no idea how I stumbled upon mouth tape as a possible solution, but one-click later and I had the mouth tape in hand. First things first: your mouth area needs to be completely dry and free of any lotions/oils/lip balm. Even if you applied it a couple hours earlier, it will negatively affect the adhesion, so keep it dry. Secondly: once the tape is on, it's ON. Don't try to adjust it or you will lose the adhesion. Make sure your lips are comfortably relaxed and not pressed too tightly, because remember, this is how you are sleeping, so I would recommend opening your mouth super wide (like you're yawning) and then naturally close your mouth and apply the tape. This will give you a closed mouth without it being a tight-lip-sealed-mouth. Third: you are done talking, eating, drinking for the night. This may be your ultimate goal! If you are looking for a way to literally keep your mouth shut so you aren't sneaking a midnight snack while you watch "just one more episode," this is the tape for you. My mouth stayed closed all night and I woke with a demonstrably non-dry mouth/throat. It's not very uncomfortable and honestly once I fell asleep it didn't bother me at all. Peeling it off in the morning is a bit of a lip exfoliation, but not terribly so and anyway, that's supposed to be good for you, so no complaints. No sticky residue left behind. NOW: why only 3 stars? It did not positively affect my snoring at all. Roof was still shaking, husband was still pissed, I was still being scared awake because I thought a car was crashing into the house. Very very sad that the mouth tape didn't help at all for the snoring, but it did help with the dry mouth, so there's that. You get about a million in this one box, so I'll probably keep using it just for that reason. WARNING: do not walk over to someone who is telling you a crazy boring meandering story and apply the tape over his mouth. You will think this is very funny and a solid solution; the person with his mouth suddenly taped shut might not.

It should stick a little more but it works just fine

I used this to stop mouth breathing. It was a great product in conjunction with using a neti pot to clear the nasal passageway. Once in a while it comes off in the middle of the night. For the most part stays on all night. Will keep buying for sure! Great price for the amount you get.

My wife says that it hasn't stopped my snoring (though it is softer), but it does prevent dry mouth and it adheres well without causing pain when pulling it off.

I am not certain this is 100% effective dealing with interrupted sleep from respiration irregularities. The jury was still out. I believe I was waking in the middle of the night less frequently. I only would wake up if I needed to use the restroom instead of the abrupt awakening due to a respiratory issue as well. I think I was feeling more rested but not like I was before the respiratory issues started years ago. My throat would feel sore when I woke up so I know there was still some breathing stress going on while using this product. But the benefits stopped once I started removing the tape unconsciously while sleeping. It would be great if this product came in different adhesion strengths.There is more to snoring than disrupted quality rest and annoying your partner. A product like this can also subdue symptoms pointing to something worse. You owe it to yourself and those who care and rely upon you to at least investigate other possibilities like sleep apnea. You are breathing through your mouth while sleeping for a reason. I know I don’t do that while awake unless I have a stuffed up nose. Something is causing it during sleep that should be investigated. Sleep apnea can lead to serious health complications.

Bought this to help correct mouth breathing at night. So far works well but need to be mindful of wearing heavy lotions on face with them because it will interfere with adhesion.

These are my favorite brand after trying a few because they are gentle on my skin and stick enough to get through the night. Sometimes they get loose if I have lotion still on my skin but I much prefer that to the stickier brands that had to be peeled off and left a rash after a few days of using them nightly.

My dentist recommended these because I was waking with a very dry mouth, snoring or snorting and waking up during the night. She also recommeneed that I wear them for a few hours during the day for a couple of days so I get used to the strips. I am thrilled with them. I sleep so much better and quieter!!

The corners don't stick at all. The adesive is so cheap, within seconds the corners will come off. This is worthless and a big money waste. Ive tried putting 2 at once but even then they come off very quickly. Would not recommend.

it works but sometimes (I used 2 together) it would come off, probably if I coughed in the night or just from tossing. It has no side effects. However, I do put a more sticky tape overtop of these 2 pcs to make sure my mouth stays closed. I think I'm getting a better sleep.
