Aquabean Black Plastic Lota - Portable Bidet

I don’t understand why it is so expensive when it’s just a cheap plastic product. With shipping I paid $25 for some cheap quality product that doesn’t hold much water and spills water while using it. I wouldn’t pay more than $5 for it.

I bought it for two reasons:1. Its large capacity2. DesignIt looked perfect looking at the picture but its just the opposite.I was so excited when I got it and after opening the package first thing I did was to see how much its volume was and I was disappointed. I need at least 48 oz of water and this was critical in my decision to buy it. Although in an answer to a customer's question, the seller says the capacity is more that 50 oz, it is not so. It is barely a little (no even half an oz) more than 48 oz.If I fill it up fully, then it's unusable because a little tilt or attempting to move will spill the water. Anyway, I filled it up so that the water level was at least half an inch lower than the lowest point of the large opening. I put it on the window sill next to me so that I can use it after my business was done. But when the time came, I realized that it was impossible to take it to the position where I needed it without spillage. I tried to hold it in different ways and not one single way of holding it worked. Looking at the reviews, I am really amazed at the fact that people are actually using it and I really want to know "how".The design would have been much better if it had covers on both openings so water cannot come out even when it was tilted (or, if there was a handle at the top as well like some watering cans). For the spout or the small opening, if the cover can be opened with a push of a button placed on the handle (like some teapots), it would have been the perfect bidet for me.The material is nice and thus the two stars. As a bidet, it completely failed to work for me.

LOVE how modern these look and also the size so you can discretely place this next to the toilet. I purchased a black and a white one to use in my powder room and master bathroom and it’s perfect! They appear to be durable and I’m hipefyl these will last a long time :)

The media could not be loaded.  I received my shipment of plastic aquabean within couple of days of ordering it. I have been using old plastic 'lota' that I got from my local Indian grocery store. It is an old design that is made with very cheap plastic. I am impressed by the creative thinking of this company for naming it 'aquabean' -- I don't have to call it lota anymore.It comes in a black card box wrapped in plastic bag. I think it is also patented as mentioned on their website [...]It is light weight with a handle that is bean shaped. It has one big rounded opening for water intake that fits easily under my vanity faucet . I was a bit concerned about its small size as suggested by some reviews but it holds sufficient water to take care of the business.Most importantly it goes well with my bathroom decor - I picked black color.

Esthetics are pleasing, functionality is very good.Maybe the fill hole could be placed a bit closer to the handle as this is how the full container is easiest to hold and control.

Perfect, compact design. It's tall like the normal height of a typical lota, but it's narrow sort of like a book so it can fit in a tote bag. This is good though, because it holds a good amount of water.

Second time buying these. Good design. I hated spout of traditional lota. So much better. It does start to get mold though so clean or replace.

I consider this an essential part of my bathroom routine. .Great product, replaced the ceramic version with this lighter weight plastic model. Unobtrusive, nice design, easy use.
