Not like the 'Old" GHD brushes
The brush is well made but not as easy to style hair as the older GHD brushes

Depends....
This seems to be a well constructed and high quality brush. It has a ceramic core and boar bristles. It feels well made and strong enough that it will hold up well during blow-outs. (I've broken many a round brush so this IS note worthy) I didn't care for the rubbery feel of the handle. It was VERY uncomfortable and ergonomically awkward during use. I also did not feel as if I could get a good " grab " on each section of my hair during my blow-out. I have thick hair past my shoulders and use a dyson dryer. MAYBE this brush is healthier than my Technique round brush, but it does not do as good of a job. It took more time and I had to smooth my ends under with a different brush. It might be great for a person with thiner , or less hair.

Disappointing
I really wanted to love this brush ( I have GHD flat iron, hair dryer and curling wand, all amazing) so I used it several times before deciding. I have long, fine, color treated hair, that is not difficult to style. I tried GHD recommended method - 80% drying first and also drying from towel dry, both methods gave the same results, fluffy flyaways” and hair that resembled a badly groomed poodle. ( I also use a smoothing serum). Using this brush did not give me the smooth, straight finish my old faithful $7.99 brush does. The brush is slightly heavier than my previous brush, but not heavy enough to require muscle fatigue breaks. Sticking with my old much cheaper brush.

Bad brush day
I rarely write reviews but here goes - for this price, this brush should be a miracle worker. I’ve tried several round brushes to find one that works beautifully on fine hair. My fine hair is slightly wavy so I round brush to straighten my hair so it isn’t frizzy. I should have returned this brush after the first couple of times i used it. The bristles aren’t long enough to even grip my fine hair and now they are all smashed in to one another so I’m on the search for a new brush. This brush also is supposed to be “ergonomic” - hardly! Save your money as this brush is definitely not for a “good hair day”.
