The Amazing Mrs Pepperpot

I had very fond memories of Mrs Pepperpot and my 4 year old son liked the stories from an old batter book of mine but it didn't have many pictures and I thought this version might be more suitable for his age. The book is well illustrated and has two stories. The reason for my moderate review is that I don't really like one of the stories - it includes children being mean to a cat (throwing things at it) and when Mrs Pepperpot is big again she doesn't reprimand the children for their behaviour. That may be the original story and maybe was acceptable then but I didn't think it set a very good example these days.

Bought this to read to my four year old granddaughter. She loves the stories and even though she knows them well, she still wants me to read them to her.

had these books as a kid, loved them! so I bought for my book loving niece, she's 5.5 years old and loves reading. these short stories are aimed for about 6-8year olds. she loves them wont put the book down!they stories are full of adventure, a real page turner for kids!I would recommend these books!

Well packaged and delivered on time. Beautiful illustrations and the colours are nice and bright. The story is just lovely. Will be buying other titles of Mrs Pepperpot. Not a bad price well worth it.
