Fantastic, does the job very well. I do burn my fingers a lot but I think thats just getting the hang of it using them! Curls stay in amazing given I have naturally very straight hair.

Worth the money, it’s amazing

WAHL Pro Shine Conical Wand is a nice design and the build quality seems comparable to similar products. The power cable is long enough to allow freedom of movement when curling and the rotating cool tip is helpful for curling and not burning your fingers. I’ve used similar products before and they have came with a heatproof glove, and I do think that would be a useful addition to include.The wand heats up quickly in use and the integrated stand ensures the wand keeps away from the surface it stands on. However, I found the stand itself got hot and didn't feel confident that it wouldn't damage the surface it stood on with prolonged use. I stood it on a couple of glass coasters which worked OK, but would be much better if a heatproof mat had been supplied.Using the wand itself I found a bit tricky, though I'm sure I will improve with more practice! I found it easier to produce curls on the left side of my head (I'm right-handed), but found the right side a lot more tricky but got there in the end, just a bit more slowly. A heat protective glove would definitely make things easier as safer in as I did feel the heat sometimes - thank goodness it has a cool end at least!I have long thick hair and I was pleasantly surprised that the wand managed to curl it at all, and I managed to produce a full head of bouncy loose curls, which lasted well and even after sleeping retained some body the following day. I did however find the whole process of winding my hair and holding it in strange positions a bit arduous and time consuming and nearly gave up after doing the first half of my hair, though again with practice I'm sure this would improve (much better if someone could do it for you).If you love curls, have got the time, patience and can nail the technique then this product would be great for you and would be excellent value for money, for me a little too much bother for regular use, special occasions only. 3 stars from me.

The media could not be loaded.  These arrived in a long branded sliding box containing the Pro Shine Conical Wand and a small instruction leaflet. I gave them a good look over with the quality and finishing appearing very good, I like that the main power cable swivels to avoid twisting of the cable while in use along with the Velcro strap that holds the cable when not in use.I have several WAHL products and although they are at more of the budget end of the market I have always been impressed with the quality, I have a pair of their hair clippers I bought from new that are nearly 30 years old now that I still use and they work perfectly so had no hesitation in trying these out.My daughter (14) has straight hair and as is often the case wants curly hair so although I joke she was actually very keen to try these out. I found the display very small and although not the brightest it was easy enough to see and adjust, I have never used hair curlers or a conical wand before so watched a few video’s before trying them out, the instruction leaflet is fairly basic but does give everything you need to know in setting them up but very little on application.I found the wand easy enough to use and the stand ensured they could be put on the table without and danger of burning it and was also useful for keeping a distance from the scalp while curling. My daughter was pleased with the results and my wife has since tried them out in a far more skilful and experienced way and thinks they are very good.Overall I thought these did exactly their intended purpose, they are easy enough to use and set up, I thought it would be a good test for me to try these out as a complete novice in using them and no doubt am wide open to justified criticism in the way I used them, but I thought it would be a good indication of how easy they are to use. I can’t really find fault with them so have given top marks.

I ordered this conical wand for my mum, she has long crazy hair and needs some help 😂No gimmicks this item is well package and is stylish jet black design.Long 3m lead with UK plug, no need to sit next to plug to use.Long barrel of wand is perfect for longer hair and gives a large variety of curl and wave effects.Temperature easily controlled with up/down buttons, temp ranges from a very low 80degrees up to 210degrees. Heats up really quickly about 10 seconds in reaching 180degrees, LED display will flash until reaches correct temperature set and they stop flashing when ok to use.Ceramic barrel is really easy to use as wand is very light and gives you option in holding both ends with cool rotating tip at top.Overall, works well and gives nice waves and bounce to your hair. You will require at heater mat to store wand after use.I would recommend this product
