Water tastes like plastic!
This product is awful! it has a strong plastic scent and the water tastes like plastic!!! my poor baby i have been trying to teach him to use the straw with this but he refused to have the water although he loves water, and when I tried the water it tastes nothing like water!! like i have been drinking liquid plastic!! so bad

a life savior
my daughter hated using bottles and would never ever be ok with using any. This really helped her consume formula easily as the bottle allows the adult to gently squeeze the milk into the baby's mouth. by now she learned to drink using the straw by herself and we will transition her to a normal straw cup at 14 months.

Great kit!
It helps if you have multiples and having these ready when you need to go to a restaurant. The cleaning straws and bottle really help.

Taught my 7mo to drink from a straw in one day.
We washed and used this cup for the first time, and my 7mo had the hang of a straw within a few minutes! Now, he's always trying to drink from our straws, but I lend thanks to this cup for making it very easy. We've tried a bunch of straw cups but being able to give this one a little squeeze to guide him was very important!

Appealing and Easy for Toddler, First-Time Straw User
My two year old is already using open cups, but had never drank from a straw before. We needed a portable drinking option and have started phasing out the use of the 360-style cups. This Honey Bear cup was just what we needed! The technique of trapping liquid in the straw with your finger before releasing it into the child's mouth worked very quickly for us and once he figured out how to wrap his mouth around the straw and suction liquid out, it was a seamless transition from there! The appealing bear design made the process even easier and the size of the cup is great for small hands. While it has been a great learning/transitioning tool, I'll need to find a cup that isn't squeezable--as it's become more of a fun, messy feature for us. Also, my LO likes to pull the straw completely out or push it all the way into the cup, so he can close the lid. If using for a small child, just be mindful that there's nothing limiting the straw movement with this cup. I do like that it is a soft straw that fits snuggly into the cap. Even turned on its side, water doesn't come out unless the cup is squeezed or if the top isn't secure.Overall, I'm glad I ordered one single bear vs one of the multipacks since we were using it primarily as a learning tool. I really appreciate the cleaning tools it comes with and we did receive three total straws.

Good for OT
I bought these honey bear drinking cups for my autistic toddler to help him slowly learn how to use a straw. He's still struggling with using a straw but he will let me please the water into his mouth, I think it's helped him to slowly adapt because before he would only drink out of the Dr Brown bottle with me holding the bottle and now he is starting to drink out of other containers such as a sports water bottle so he is slowly improving. I highly recommend this particular brand it is a little on the pricey side but honestly all of these honey bear cups are expensive, I really like this one because it has a bunch of straws that come with it and it has the cleaning supplies because these things are kind of hard to clean so it's nice that it comes with the tiny brushes to clean out the straws. I highly recommend this it is a good product for your autistic child and honestly my daughter uses it as well she likes drinking out of it cuz she thinks that the Bears are cute lol.
