Great, dust free bedding for small furries

I only bought this brand because for some reason, all Kaytee Clean & Cozy beddings were going to take 2 weeks to ship.The material is nowhere NEAR as “pillowy soft” as written on the packaging. It almost has a soft CARDBOARD feel to it??Not only is it not soft, upon opening the package, I was assaulted with a chemically, almost nail polish/paint smell?? I can’t imagine that being good for my hamster since even PURPOSELY scented beddings aren’t good for them.I’m gonna use it for a few days and see if the scent eventually dissipates, if not, I’m just going to dump it out entirely.Real disappointed, especially considering the higher price tag when compared to Kaytee whose never failed me.

This paper bedding felt like a bunch of take out trays for drinks (like you’d get from a mcdonalds or tim hortons) had been shredded, it was not too soft at all. But worse of all, the smell of the paper bedding. Opening the bag and spreading bedding out for my bunnies, this absolute putrid almost chemical smell filled the air. Worried for myself and the bunnies and noticing the smell not airing out, I throw most of this bedding away and went with another product that was much more successful and accurate in description.

I got this thinking I could set up regular delivery and it would make the weekly clean out easier and cheaper. Yeah...a week later and now all 3 piggies have LICE! The never had it before and I freeze their food and hay when it comes home so this is the ONLY place it could have come from. Now I am going to have to pay $100 each to have them all treated. Proceed carefully!!!

I ordered it online just because the stores have been out of bedding for a week and a half now. If you can snag it in stores. It will be 10 to 12 dollars cheaper. It's great though. No problems at all. I think my little guy prefers the brown stuff. I don't know what the difference is tho.
