NERFN-Strike Longshot CS-6(Discontinued by manufacturer)

The shipping time was a lot less then what Amazon estimated I'm pleased with that. The primary gun itself was easy to assemble and rather nice to look at. It's a bit awkward to hold but thats not a big issue. The feel of it is a bit less then expected since there was a loose screw in the one I received but that was easily fixed. It also feels a bit thin in some area's. The secondary gun (the pistol) was harder to assemble since the handle was hard to insert. The range of it is rather poor (shoots lighter than the Secret Strike AS-1). As many people have said, the scope is nothing but plastic on the inside, so its good for nothing but show without mod's. The primary gun itself fires rather loudly but that was to be expected (My Longstrike fired really loud too).Overall, I'd recommend it to any nerf fans (over age 10). The only thing is, be careful of the price since I got mine at a lower one then any of the currently listed prices (12/26/2010) and its not available at all in stores anymore.

Got it opened it and modded the gun getting awesome results even out of the box it is great.A good thing to do is to salvage any parts you can from the front gun because it is pathetic and wrong to call it a side arm.Use the spring and barrel from the front gun and store them away for future use.This is a great gun and is used by beginners and pros alike.This is the most bang for your buck.now the long srikes counter part the long STRIKE has one major flaw it's firing system is that of a recon it uses a plunger system the perfect example of the watering down of these guns. The long shot is a great gun to mod given the fact that no parts are glued down in the main gun and the firing mechanism allows you to add more springs.Probabaly the best additional spring is the BBB the Big Bad Bow spring gives it great range at no cost damage wise to the gun.Thanks for reading and if I were you I would keep one Long shot in the box just in caseGotyournose out

This was a Christmas present for my grandson. He absolutely loves it! The guns accuracy is very good, and the price I paid was $20 cheaper than Walmart!

The Longshot has a reputation for being one of the best Nerf guns there is. This may be true from a modding standpoint, but to be honest it is over-hyped. Granted, it is a good gun. The scope is adorable, if useless (because darts fall so rapidly, you have to aim far enough above your target that you won't be able to see them through the scope at all), but if you really need a scope to hit something with a Nerf gun you are doing it wrong. The stock is nice and adjustable, but is not removable like the Recon/Raider/Spectre stocks. It stores a clip, and because of the design I think it may be able to store any of the clips. The range of the gun is equal to other clip-system guns, and not as good as revolvers like the Maverick (so it is a sniper rifle only in appearance). I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is actually really accurate, possibly the most accurate Nerf gun (so maybe it would be a viable sniper if modded). It is bolt-action manual so don't expect a high rate of fire at all. The front is a detachable barrel extension with an extra one-shot, pump-action gun, presumably to cover you while you reload the main unit. As with all barrel extensions it actually hurts the range a bit.While I like this gun, it has some flaws in terms of construction. The bipod is rather hard to fold out, and when deployed you can't put on/take off the barrel attachment. The barrel attachment itself is a problem. Oddly, you have install the trigger by shoving it into a slot. I think this was supposed to be an easy step, but it took me about half an hour to do--it kept falling off or not fitting. The stock is also positioned so that if you store the gun upright with the bipod out, it will put all the weight on any clip you put in the stock, which is at least awkward.Overall, it is a cool gun, but if you are buying your first clip-system gun you should get the Recon or Alpha-Trooper instead.

I must say, we have many Nerf guns. And while they are all played with, this one is the most desired. It always receives "ooohs" and "ahhhs" and of course, "that's so cool!". It is very durable, and my son likes to show his friends all the things it does. While I don't think it is very educational at all, we have seen more than our money's worth out of use.

There was a small arms race in my house between my roommate and I for Nerf Guns. I have to say, this one is a lot of fun. It has a lot of removable parts, and a great look. I'm thinking about making it Steampunk eventually.

My granson has totally enjoyed this toy. He wanted it for Christmas and his friends and he play with it daily. It's durable with the exception of the bullets and they can get messed up "if not taken care of" because they are just sponges. The price is reasonable too. It's good safe fun.

I bought two of these for Christmas 09 so I could play war games with my daughter. I'm a mechanical engineer and yet assembling this toy takes a PhD and then it just jams. We managed to get it to shoot two darts, both of which were damaged by the firing mechanism. It doesn't break down to clear a jam, and then jams again. The weapon has two guns in one, and neither toy's forward gun worked. This is the biggest disappointment of the season. Buy something else.

Le viseur est très clair, le trépied a une bonne tenu.Il peut se diviser en deux nerfs et devient donc un trois en un.La couleur des munitions (orange) permet une meilleure visibilité pour les retrouver une fois lancées. Il faudrait que toutes les munitions Nerf soient ainsi.Les éléments peuvent s'intervertir avec d'autres nerfs comme le Retaliator par exemple.Très bon produit.

nerf fantastico peccato per il caricatore in dotazione che ha solo 6 dardi. dentro il calcio esiste un vano il cui infilare un eventuale secondo caricatore. uno dei migliori fucili della serie nerf però pesante quindi da bambini 8anni+. calcio molto stabile e anche regolabile. il mirino non aggiunge zoom ma ha un buon reticolato dotato di bipede non molto stabile ma consente abbastanza movimento. sistema di caricamento non troppo duro ma se si carica appena un pochino male rovina e rompe il proiettile. se si inseriscono proiettili appena appena rovinati il fucile si inceppa, ci si mette un po' per sbloccarlo. VE LO CONSIGLIO PIENAMENTE fucile fantastico duraturo nel tempo ottima finezza nei dettagli praticamente indistruttibile, probabilmente il fucile nerf più preciso. ottima gittata circa 18 metri rispetto ai 10 indicati sulla confezione, l'arma secondaria e buonina più o meno 8metri. bellissima le cura nei dettagli FANTASTICO!!! un esperienza fantastica se avete soldi COMPRATELO!!! ma è preoccupante il continuo aumento del prezzo, quando lo ho comprato era a 65€ circa già un mese dopo 90€ troppo. ovviamente consegna fantastica grazie amazon completa serietà consegna nei tempi e imballaggio perfetto. se volete un nerf potente preciso questo è perfetto. ottimo fucile da cecchino. grazie nerf, grazie amazon

Die Nerf Longshot CS-6 ist eine geniale Nerf Gun! Viele berichten, dass die Waffe aufgrund der Länge nicht gerade weit schießt. Der Meinung bin ich nicht. Sie hat einen sehr starken und weiten Schuss und meiner Meinung nach ist sie eine der besten Nerf Guns. Das einzig negative was ich berichten kann, ist das der vordere Abzug nicht richtig einrastet und deswegen der "Granatwerfer" nicht funktioniert. Mir macht das nicht viel aber es ist natürlich ärgerlich.Fazit: Die Waffe schießt stark, ist massig und liegt sehr gut in der Hand!Nur zu empfehlen!

This is a good product, fun to use and easy to use when fitted correctly. There were only two small problems with this product for me, the first one was that when i got this product out of its box i immediately noticed down one side of the gun there was a mark made by a permenant marker pen and to this day i still haven't managed to get it off. The second problem was that there were two triggers, one already fitted and one you had to fit yourself, i read the instructions on how to fit the trigger but it just wouldn't go on. In the end i had to put it into place and ram it against something to fit it on properly. Although when you have put it together as i have already said it is great fun to use and you also don't need batteries.
