The product was delivered on time and was easy to assemble. I liked that it is a telescopic pole which makes it easy to store. It comes with a decent sized carry bag (not too big not too small) but I had hoped for a slightly bigger bag. Nonetheless it works for our kids who are less than 6 years old. We needed a kit with a fishing net and this one comes with one so that our kids are not frustrated after a long day of fishing. It comes with its own hooks and bait and I would say it is a good value for money if you are starting out fishing with young kids. It has a good selection of everything you need to go out fishing on a warm afternoon.

This is a really quality package for a respectable price. I have gone through many rods/reels over the years, and have been through more kids outfits than i can count. I would put the Plusinno package among the best of the rod/reel combos that my daughter has owned.The package itself makes this a great value for a beginners first rod. It comes with all the necessary mini-lures, weights and bobbers that allow you to simply buy bait and start fishing. The carry case is a nice addition, particularly when compared to similar products at this pricepoint from brick and mortor stores in the area. Overall the entire ensemble at this price is a good deal and covers all that would be needed/expected for a beginners first outfit.The rod itself is the focal point of the package and warrants specific mentioning in a detailed review. It is a solid, telescoping rod and surprisingly stout... i was not expecting the quality that I got from the rod and reel. The reel itself is simple, but also far more well built than the kids package reels you find at Wal-Mart. After taking the reel apart to inspect it for this review I was pleased to see that they had gone with noticeably more stout components than the prior reels my daughter has destroyed. We do a fishing channel on YouTube under the name Stanley Orchard and she needed a rod that she could work on her own for some of the videos that we have coming up... and she got exactly whatbshe needed with this package.

Thus far this unit has performed very well, my grandson was able to cast the line after 3 or 4 trys on his first outing, excellent unit for kids to learn the joys of fishing

Works as advertised. First time fishing with my 6 yr old son and caught 1lb largemouth bass, and a beautiful sunfish. =) Comes with everything you need, simple tacklebox, and the telescoping pole, the ability to compact it is nice when boating/traveling. My son loves using the net to catch minnows. I like this pole over the smaller one i got for my 3 year old, as it is sturdier. You will probably need to adjust the drag depending on fish size.
