BlendtecStealth 885 Professional Commercial Blender

I bought two of these for my juice bar to replace Vitamix “Quiet One” blenders (which were EXTREMELY LOUD after less than a year of use and Vitamix could not fix them). The Blendtec is much quieter and blends perfectly. The lid is a little wonky as other reviews have mentioned, but as long as it’s placed securely we haven’t had any issues with leakage. (Though I guess it could be an issue with thinner liquids, as we only blend smoothies.) We did have to replace one due to an error message but Blendtec customer service was great and sent a new blender as soon as we shipped the broken one. We’re completely happy and will not go back to Vitamix.

Outstanding reduction in sound. Much quieter than the our original without the surrounding attachment. Yes, we can carry on a conversation next to it.

I have used Nutribullets for 4 years. Wore out two of the 900 watt units. My wife really hated the noise. We had to wear head sets for the sound. I sprung for this $1000 unit compared to my $100 Nutribullets. This unit was unbelievable quiet. but...……..The unit came with the front label pealing off. The lids are cheap 50 cent pieces of junk, so the unit leaks. I Bought a 25 dollar snap on lid from another vendor because even Blendtec doesn't sell them (Or have them in stock on their web site) On the second real use the unit overheats and I have thick grey smoke in my house. I will try another one because the unit is so quiet and my family hated the noise from the Nutribullet. I really hope I got a bad apple on my first try.

Great blender, with more power than you'll ever need for standard use! If you have the money this is the way to go!
