These milk thistle pills were a good price and were standardized which is what I'm always looking for in a supplement. This bottle lasted me a long time as well and near the end of it I could feel it making a difference in my body...I have since gone to bulk supplements in powder form because it's an even better bargain, but if I were to go back to pill form these are the ones I'd buy.

My Vet recommended this product for my 13 year old White German Shepherd, Nikki, who was struggling with unhealthy liver levels, as result of lyme disease and a hepatitis outbreak. This product and Sam-e helped to get her liver enzymes back to nearly normal in less than a year. She takes 1 capsule a day, sprinkled in her food. Her liver numbers remain close to normal. We use this for our dog with liver disease along with SAM-E. Together they are the major components of a vet med (blue pill) that is substantially more expensive. I just twist open the capsules on her wet food and she eats it up, no problem.

Took this for my liver enzymes being high. Doctor said it was okay to take but not to take with my thyroid medicine. Shoule take it in afternoon. After taking a while and cutting back on alcohol consumption liver emzyes tested fine.

I have been using Milk Thistle for about 20 years. This brand for about the last 10. I get my liver tested every 6 months and always test fine. Seems to be a good quality product at a good price.
