Easy upgrade for my RV
I have a small RV that has a fresh water tank, without a gauge. I was looking for a simple solution to measure the amount of water in the tank. Previously I had to go outside open a hatch to check the water level. The gauge instillation was very easy. First you have to determine where to place the unit. The gauge extends about 1 1/2 inches behind the surface so you have to make sure you have clearance. Also keep in mind it require both power (12 volts) and connection to the sending unit. Drill the hole, try to be precise because the gauge has a very small bezel (so no room for error). Lastly connect the unit to power and the sending unit. The gauge can be backlit if desired. I tested my gauge before I installed it just to make sure the sending unit and gauge worked. The only downside to the gauge is that it is not linear which means that it has preset levels. In other words full will be displayed until the sender unit get to 3/4 and then the gauge will display 3/4. For me that was not a deal breaker, you just need to be aware of the fact that the gauge is not 100% representative of the water level.

Clear display and easy to install
Works exactly as advertised. Clear and easy to read display. Illuminated dial. Purchased with a water level sensor. Installed in a shore well with 100 feet of 16/2 low voltage cable joining the two. Installation and connection straightforward. It and the sensor were sent in two separate packages that arrived a few days apart. Don't know why this was done but didn't matter as my planned installation schedule was unaffected.

Performs as expected
This gauge with a physical measurement device is the way to go - I tried numerous other methods of measuring water usage - flow meters etc, but this just works..

Gauge works well and has a smooth action that shoudl reduce sensitivity to sloshing.
I did a test wiring wit ha 11.5" micro switch level sensor also from Kurs
