Value ? Yes! Need more use of the pen to estimate how long one cartridge will feed ink.

Doesn't work with the Aihao fountain pen, however I have plenty of cartridges for other fountain pens.

I really like the cheap Amazon basic fountain pen but you can’t find refills, these will work.

After reading the reviews for the Amazon Basic pen I added these cartridges to my cart for when the cartridges that came with the pen ran out (and they ran out quickly). I can confirm they fit the pen perfectly and the ink quality is so much better than the Amazon ones, it’s dark, doesn’t bleed, and I don’t have to hold the pen tip down for five minutes for the ink to run. Only downside is that it does smudge a bit so I don’t recommend placing your hand on your page over the writing for support since the ink dries a bit slow and it will stain your skin (the stain will go away with a couple of hand washes). Overall a great choice and I will be rebuying once I run out.

Maybe it was just me, but I could not get these to fit my Amazon Basics pen. The neck looked narrower than the cartridges that comes with the Amazon fountain pen. I made the mistake of thinking that I could muscle it on and well, ended up bending a metal piece inside to the point that the cartridge that I knew fit no longer fits the pen either. So not only am I still out of ink, I appear to be out a pen as well... The cartridges are the same length however.So this is why I am giving it three stars, I have no way to telling you how the ink looks or performs and perhaps it is user error in trying to install the refill.
