Mostly good points
Was frustrated trying to clean the trivet that came with my Instant Pot Smart 60 as it has concentric circles of wires with some support wires underneath. A bad pattern for trying to get stuff off. Lots of tight corners and very difficult to wash by hand. I appreciated that this model has just straight wires which should be much easier to clean, as well as the legs which are a bit taller than the trivet that came with the pot. That one couldn't take more than a bit less than a cup of liquid before the liquid would touch the trivet. This should hold more than that while still holding food above the liquid. The handles are coated with silicone and taller than the standard trivet. This is handy, but for 6 quart models, the handes come right up to the lid. I've tried it with the pressure lid as well as the glass lid and both fit, but again, the handle comes right up to the lid.Others have noted that the handles don't stay standing on their own, which would be frustrating if you're trying to place food in with the trivet in the pot, as well as it's not always great to have the handles leaning against the meat or whatever you're cooking.I was able, just, to get them to stand up against the wall of the pot when trying it out, but have yet to use it to actually cook with, so not sure if that will always be the case.I suppose if it were a problem, you might be able to make some strategic bends in the wires of the handles that might cause it to naturally lean open. The handles won't fold one on top of the other on top of the trivet, but you can fold one over the top and one over the bottom to have it lay flat.I look forward to seeing how it works in practice, but it seems to have the features that I wanted.... taller legs, and easier to clean.
