When it arrived, there was no protective film on the screen and the screen already had scratches. It's kind of frustrating because it's easily preventable. Other than that, it works perfectly fine.

So it starts off as a bad purchase. The calculator I received had a broken display. I received a working replacement and it is by far the most complement inducing thing on my desk. It's kind of a play on tech. "Is that a bamboo calculator?" The irony in itself is worth the buy.

The screens both seemed dirty/grimy and cleaned them with lens wipes. The back has 4 sticky spots where it looks like there used to be 4 pads over the screws. I purchased small sticky pads to adhere over the sticky places. Its fine, but I had to put in extra effort to make it right. Would not have given as a gift.

I bought this calculator because my previous desk calculator would not let me adjust the screen; I would have to be directly over the calculator to read the numbers clearly. I don't have that problem with this calculator. The numbers are dark and easy to read no matter the angle. While I do find the buttons to be somewhat awkwardly placed (would like the = sign to be larger), it's really nice. It feels of quality materials and the mechanical keys have a very satisfying "CLICK!"

I love the big buttons, it reminds me of annadding machine. It’s super cute and I get lots of compliments on it!

I just like Bamboo and the elimination of yet another plastic surface in my office. It's just a fun item. Key board is easy to use and keys are actually engraved so you don't have to worry about the image of the number wearing off.

This is a really nice calculator; the wood is not just nice to look at but has a nice feel for your fingers. It would make a good gift. The buttons make inputting figures easy and accurate.
