Bit pricey for an all plastic pump
I needed to replace a brushed finish dispenser with a chrome one. For me it was a bit of a downgrade as the brushed one was actual metal, base as well as nozzle. This one is all plastic. It also doesn't stick out as far, so it's more of a pain to get hands under it, you have to turn your hands "sideways" against the back edge of the sink if you want it in your palm, otherwise if you like it on the fingertips, you're set.Pump action works fine, the bottle holds as much as the others I've had and the one I'm replacing, but I just can't help but think that since this cost more than the one I replaced that was metal, it should've been a better material. But it works, just pricey for an all plastic pump.

Works easily and looks beautiful
The first thing to know about this soap dispenser is that it is fully plastic. The finish is a metal look but it is plastic & lightweight. Is this a bad thing? I'm thinking not. I have some plastic soap containers that I've been refilling for 8 or 10 years that still work and I have had several metal in-counter soap dispensers fail in that time. I went with Delta because I have had a Delta soap dispenser in my kitchen which is still working fine after 10 years. In the same period of time I have had 1 Moen and 3 Kohlers fail in my bathroom, not to mention they have not worked well and been a pain in the neck to use even before they fail. Over time, the metal soap dispensers react with soap, turning it green, and then it clogs up and stresses the pump and the pump fails. Delta lines their metal soap dispensers with plastic so you don't have that problem. This one is all plastic, as I noted, but it still appears to have a second plastic lining where the soap comes out. It works smoothly and easily and looks great. As you can see, the stainless steel finish is slightly lighter than my older Delta stainless steel bar faucet in the photo but it works for me. The soap dispenser has a good reach so it clears the side of the sink and it's easy enough for my grandkids little hands to operate. A possible down side is that the neck of the soap bottle is the narrowest one I've seen and this may make it more difficult to fill. I haven't had to refill it yet so I don't know.

Disapointed in quality but customer service top notch
Lasted about 8 months before the pump started giving us trouble, hard to push, wouldn't retract, very low volume of dish soap per pump.Today it stopped working completely. Always thought Delta was very good stuff, but this product does not deliver..Gave them a call and explained the situation, and they promptly dispatched a replacement. Also told me that some soap liquids are too thick for this pump mechanism (not in the advertising though) and suggested I use Palmolive dish soap or dilute the brand we prefer (Dawn). So that's what I'll try on the new unit..

Perfect in every way!!!
I honestly only bought this pumper because it is the perfect match for my faucet. Completely out of character for me I didn't read any reviews until after my purchase and became a little concerned about it. It has now been installed for about 2 weeks and works just as it should. As far as filling the unit is concerned, the opening when the pumper is removed, which it just pulled right out of the top, is much larger than the opening in the bottle that screws into the bottom so don't even bother reaching under the sink to remove it for refilling. My girlfriend that will thankfully never see this review is very clumsy not mechanically inclined what so ever, can refill the pumper without spilling even a single drop of soap. Anyone that says they have problems filling this pumper must have Parkinson's or something. The unit is beautiful, sturdy, reaches well into the sink, installs in minutes, meters just the correct amount of soap with every pump! I love it and so dose the gf so guys, get it and keep your woman happy!

Works well, attractive.
I now have two of these on the sink. One for dish detergent and one for hand soap. They are durable and very easy to use. I saw where one reviewer evidently thought that pushing the curved nozzle would operate the device and was disappointed. It never entered my mind to push the nozzle because the large round section begs, "push me, push me" to operate the device. That operation works easily and well.Filling the dispenser's large bottle from the top is easy to set up but requires a bit of patience during the filling if using viscous detergent or soap. The liquid flowing in needs to let the air below in the bottle escape. Filling too quickly causes a bubble to form that blocks further flow. It takes a few minutes to fill the bottle when being patient and then filled bottle lasts many weeks.

Broke within 6 months of ordering.
Don’t buy; we’ve purchased 2 of these (second as a replacement to broken first one) and the second one broke just like the first. Disappointing.

Functionality is poor
We needed this to replace a broken dispenser and figured we’d get used to it but there’s some major issues. It matches our faucet perfectly but the spout is too short so whatever needs soap needs to be right against the sink and is a pain. The soap container is difficult to put on. We expected some difficulty since you have to crawl under the sink but this one takes forever to get it perfectly square to thread it.Additionally the spout takes a lot of pressure for any soap to come out. It’s like all or nothing - a huge amount or none. While it is sturdy and the finish is nice the functionality is too flawed for a good review. We will be replacing it.

High quality. Try to keep it clean.
Nice looking, high functioning soap dispenser. I’ve had these for 7 years and they have never clogged.I recommend taking the trouble to unscrew them from underneath the sink to fill. It’s been pretty frustrating, slow, and or messy to fill from the counter.I recently replaced them because the stainless steel material got corroded over time. I’m going to try to take better care keeping them clean this time around and hopefully they stay nicer looking for longer.

Stainless steel? "Arctic Stainless"? "Penguin Stainless" "Walrus Stainless"?
Really upset over this matching lotion dispenser. I even called Delta before placing the order to confirm that the material WAS in fact stainless steel and she kept telling me it was "arctic stainless", whatever that means??? Maybe "Penguin stainless", or "Northern Lights Stainless" would be just as confusing. I specifically asked if the the entire unit was made of solid stainless. Delta's answer? "It's Arctic stainless". Then she assumed I was being rude, put me on hold and came back with, "yes, it's stainless steel". So I placed the order. I assumed a nice heavy gauge of stainless steel, instead what I got was an extremely THIN piece of metal that will absolutely not hold up well in a kitchen. The entire unit weighs like literally nothing. It's so thin I can't even imagine how they managed to make and mold it. It looks like maybe the steel is molded over plastic. It's feather light, and definitely not worth the money paid. Feels like a dollar store item. I think both the faucet and this dispenser are going back. If you are going to offer stainless steel, then for heaven sake it should feel like I am holding a piece of steel, and not a piece of plastic.

Not very good quality
This products are not very ggod quality. The soap dispenser are made of plastic so the old one was broken after 3 years. So to be careefull with it and push it to center. the stainer was peeled off after one year, was replaced on waranty by my builder, the replacement was peeled off after two years, and after three years was eroded complettely. Insinkerator flange was peeled after two years. So the reason for replacement with the same brand was to have thees staff matched to my old ones, looked gorgeous and I didn't find anything like this from another manufacturers. Probably will replace again in 2-3 years

Is plastic but you would never know.
I read the reviews before buying and was concerned about the one saying it was plastic. The soap pump that came with the faucet stopped working and I needed a replacement. Due to the review, I checked the material of the original - it was also plastic, although the faucet and water control are metal! I bought the soap pump and it looks like metal but isn't. I am very happy with the look of it. (However, I believe it should be about half the price - especially since it is plastic)

Better than the one it replaced
We really like this version because of the long reach and the reduced flow per pump, compared to the Moen unit it replaced. The old one pumped way too much detergent at once. And it looks great!

A must have
These are a must for a kitchen sink!!!Every sink I install I make sure my clients also install one of these beside their faucet.not this one specifically but the soap dispenser in general.this one is great if it matches your faucet!!
