Very good value for what they are
Excellent for the price. They aren't super sturdy but 2 dollar scissors never are, and they aren't what I'd call flimsy either. They cut well, which 2 dollar scissors often don't, so very good value for the money. What I really liked is the big thumb loop cause my thumb and fingers are taped up a lot so small loops (which are what most cheap scissors have) are a problem. As cheap scissors go, they are easily 5 star, just don't expect them to cut 20 sheets of paper at once , or heavy fabric etc. Excellent for medical tape though (what I bought them for actually.) Lightweight too if that matters to you. If you need a good pair of scissors for regular use with thicker stuff, spend the money for something more substantial. If you need something for travel that you won't care if you lose, or a specific light use, you'll be happy with these. For what its worth, I selected these because I'd had pretty good experience with this brand for garden tools.

Pleasantly surprised. Very solid.
I like the feel of stainless steel scissors; the cut is clean and usually comparatively easy. The pair I had used a rather thin stainless metal and the blades would push away from each other while cutting cardboard or multiple sheets of paper. I purchased these thinking for the price I could't go too far wrong, but I was even more delighted than I expected. Each blade is a full 3/32" thick, thicker than the edge of a U.S. nickle! If someone tried to cut a brick with these I am not sure I would bet on the brick coming out in one piece. The thick blade even extends significantly up into the handles. The description uses the word "recycled", and I think the packaging indicated that word applied the plastic handle. The handle has a great feel; they are good quality and fit comfortably in either left or right hand (I am a lefty myself.)I may very well order another package or two (2 scissors per package.) At this price it would be worth having another couple pairs to keep at convenient locations around the house.

Light duty scissors for a good price
They do the job. I use for cutting paper mostly, no more than two or three pages in thickness, and I've only had them for about 6 weeks. They are comfortable and cut very well. If you're looking for light weight scissors I think these will last if not abused. I have heavy duty scissors for cutting other things from leather, to light weight metal, but those are just for those purposes. These are strictly for light paper cutting, and they do the job. Plus the price was right.

Great price, durability, and comfort. What more can you ask for?
I used these scissors for a crafting project over the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and durable they are. They flawlessly cut through paper, cardboard, and fabric. The curve on the handle really helps with the handling. I found that after hours of using them I didn't have a sore spot on my thumb like with other scissors I've used in the past. As an added bonus- they are recycled which also makes me love them even more! Would definitely recommend!

They seem to not be as smooth as other fiskars
I got these to replace a set that was wearing out. However, once I got the scissors, I noticed that the finger strength required to cut was far more than the previous set. They seem to be either over tightened or something. They cut fine. They just don't "glide" like fiskars scissors usually do. Maybe I got a bad set...

Black Handled Scissors
These scissors are great for paper. I wanted black to match the drawer contents, and they fit perfectly with all the other black office supplies in the drawer.

Fiskars Recycled Everyday Scissors, 8-Inch, 2-Pack
I'm really impressed with the Fiskars Recycled Everyday scissors. These scissors have straight stainless steel blades and the handles are made of recycled plastic. They are constructed well, have sharp blades, are comfortable to use, and cut well. Buying a 2-pack was a great value; one for home use and one for work. While there are more expensive models of scissors available, these are great for everyday use... hence their name.

Bargain for Quality Scissors
I have kids which means my scissors are ALWAYS missing. I cannot tell you how many times I have almost sent myself to the ER trying to use our cooking knives to perform as missing scissors. A) They have black handles, so they mean "hands off kids". B) They are well-made, cut extremely well and feel like decent quality. Of course they are made in China, but I cannot fault them at this price point. Very nice for the price.
