The Mysterious Mr Quin

There's a lot of meat on the bones of an Agatha Christie story. This little treasure is no exception. I can quite happily read one or all of the short stories again and again. It's like watching a favourite film or TV programme. Each time you pick up on something you missed the first time. Not every story is about murder, some are just the twists and tales of lives and what makes us take the actions we take.

Really enjoyed this collection, Mr Quinn is an intriguing character and the interplay with him and Satterthwaite is compelling as he guides him to solving various mysteries, am a big fan of these two gentlemen and the narrator brings them to life beautifully.

I heard three short stories on the BBC about Agatha Christie's Mysterious Mr Quin and discovered that this book contained yet more of them including the denouement in the last story. I was intrigued to read the set of stories and wasn't disappointed. The last story is worth waiting for if you read the book sequentially.

This audio is the best book I have ever listened to, it is absolutely brilliant. I have listened to it over and over again and still enjoying it.

What pleasure this item has given me. I can listen to yet another Agatha Christie classic, any time any place. I especially like listening to these audio stories whilst I am doing house work or walking the dog.
