I did receive 8mm working barrel hinges, much like the pictures. BUT - look at the hinge carefully - the photo clearly show that each HALF of each hinge has three arms, for a total of six per hinge. This would of course provide much more strength than what I received, which was four arms per hinge. Take a close look at most of the competitors - they have four arms per hinge. THIS guy is one of the rare suppliers who has SIX arms per hinge.Unfortunately that is only in the pictures, not in the product.

What was pictured is not what I got. The sale photo shows a barrel hinge with an internal screw that drives a wedge when tightened. What I got was Hinges with 2 external screws per side. Different mechanism and a completely different look. I wouldn't have bought these if I knew that.

Arrived fast but these hinges are not well made. The pins fell out of two of them simply by turning them over while in the open position. The ones that didn’t fall apart are ok. I would not buy these again

I’ve used these types of hinges in the past, but these guys are just too difficult to drill the correct size hole for, line up, and stay in good working order. They aren’t expensive, so I guess they are priced about right. Lesson learned invest in higher quality hardware for nicer builds.

Appear to be good quality hinges. I wish it came with screws.
