We bought this after seeing someone else with one. Nice quality for a thin leather leash.

When I first purchased this leash it was a bit stiff, but within a few weeks it was soft and pliable. This is a well put together leash, sturdy, easy on your hands. I have high praise for the quality of this leash.

The 5/8 inch wide, 6 foot Redline leather leash is top quality. The leather is good and thick also. It is robustly constructed, well oiled and has the correct rich leather fragrance too. We use it on woods trails, the dog likes it and it dries nicely after getting wet.

A leather lead feels better, IMHO, in your hands than nylon. My first leather lead just broke, and, it was 20 years old. This one feels soft in the grip right away--no break in period needed. I don't have a need for the brass ring in the handle, but, that's a minor thing. Nice leash.

Bought this to replace an old Amish leather leash that I had for 12 years. Tried biothane leashes but they didn't feel good in the hand, this one does. Construction is good, the braid near the clasp gives good grip when needed, and the brass ring on the handle is a welcome addition for clipping on a long line.

A darn nice leash for the price. Sturdy and well made without being too bulky. Leather is a smidge thicker (not wider) than I'd hoped, and it comes in just *under* 4 feet (but will likely stretch with time). Breaking in a new leash is always a lengthy process, but this one is soft enough that I feel like we're halfway there already. Would buy again.

Unlike nylon leashes, this does not have an abrasive effect on one's hands. The braided part effectively works as a brake when you want extra control. The brass fitment is of very good quality. And to top it off, it looks good. Would certainly recommend to a friend.

Good, quality leather leash. The braiding near the clip and on the handle were thicker than they appear in photos- which is the reason I would not recommend this leash for smaller dogs since it's heavier. Just the same, the leash is well-made and has a great broken-in feel for the handler. Package was shipped quickly.

This is a great leash. Attractive, strong, comfortable, won't give you rope burn when the dog pulls. Bass fitting attractive. Nice little ring for the poop bag container, thoughtful touch.

I loved this leash, the leather felt great in my hand. Too bad it also felt great in my dogs mouth.Chewed it to bits.

Surprisingly beautiful for something so utilitarian. Shows real pride of workmanship.
