Lumberjanes Vol. 3: A Terrible Plan (3) Paperback – Illustrated, April 5, 2016

I couldn’t wait to dive into this one after reading the other two. What I was immediately put off by was the new art style. I wasn’t thrilled about it because I loved the past artwork, but I pushed forward and I'm happy I did! It ended up being pretty awesome. Looking back I guess I just wasn’t sure what to think about it and was holding onto the first two. So friends, keep an open mind... I REALLY loved this one. I felt like the story was more thought out and allowed me to get more invested.I also got to know more about each of the girl and their personalities which allowed me to connect with them all individually. I LOVED how aggressive and goal orientated April was. It reminded me of myself haha But the part about decorating cakes killed me especially because of Ripley. It was adventurous and humorous and I hope this series continues in this direction!!

I loved this volume! The adults art styles but the different contributors was really fun. The stories, I felt, had much better pacing. I thought there was a logical unfolding to the sequence of events that were laid out here. I’m so looking forward to the high jinks of the next volume!

I like this series way more than I expected to. One thing I was worried about was the changes in artwork throughout the book. I was worried it would be jarring to have different artists take on parts of the book, but it works well and even enhances the story. Just like the last one, the supernatural phenomenon is explored. But that's not what I love most about this graphic novel. The book continues to unravel each character's personality. How they act, who they are in different environments, their strengths AND weaknesses. It makes the story much more interesting when you start to see the characters as people throughout the series. I'm excited to read the next one!

I love this series. Something nice that you can share with younger kids but interesting enough that adults will love it too. I've subscribed to the ongoing series since reading the first 6 books available on amazon. Various characters that are all fleshed out and different from one another working together. There's also a supernatural element to the story.

My 11yr old loves these books and reads them in a flash. They are more like a comic book series but still are fun for her because they are about a group of girls that are in a scout group and earn their badges through their adventures.

I really can't get enough of this series so far. It's just so dang cute and funny with the right amount of adventure.

These are just fun to read. I do feel like it needs a little more of a plot but it was still entertaining

Loved to read this one in the dark. Tons of stories and some action. Also enjoyed seeing the Lumberjanes work hard to win badges.

Um capítulo com menos aventura, mas fofamente focado na Molly e Mal. Enquanto Ripley detonava nos botons, para desespero de April.

We're reading this at bed time, with my youngest and it is GLORIOUS. Lumberjanes is amazing. Funny, emotional and full of glorious queer rep, we've become dedicated to this series and it's characters. I wish I'd had something like this as a child.

Es uno de los mejores cómics que he leído, gran dibujo y una historia excepcional!Lo recomiendo a cualquiera que le encante la fantasía y el misterio.
