Great detail

Good molding, plenty of detail, but plastic prone to warping
This mini comes in 5 parts (feet, torso and head, sword arm, two spiked balls on chains and a treasure chest for the belt on the rear).This one is made from the white reaper plastics, so it is very soft and the sword on mine was badly deformed. The hot water method of straightening it out worked for a time, but the blade has warped again after painting. I would suggest making sure that you've got it fixed in pace before painting by letting it sit at room temp for a while after you straighten the blade.It assembled easily without any major gaps and did not require pinning to keep the parts in place. The mini also didn't require much clean up since it didn't have any major mold lines.I primed this with basic acrylic craft paint in gray (especially with these softer plastic minis, don't use typical spray paints to prime, it will literally never dry) and painted using Army Painter miniature paints. The details stand out, and since it's so large you get the opportunity to really detail the piece without having to desperately hope your hands are steady enough to make sure the eyes don't look derpy.This guy does need a base though, it's just horribly unstable without one. A 2"-2 1/2" base should work fine, since his stance is a little wide. Since there isn't a pudding or molded base on it you're really free to let your imagination go wild on the base.All in all, not a bad mini, but way too soft of plastic for the weight of the figure. So be prepared to dunk it in boiling water to get it completely perfect for tabletop use.

I received this item in a quick matter. I received the Reaper sculpt of a Fire Giant Warrior SKU 77616 as stated in the name. However the picture of the item for sale is the Fire Giant Bodyguard SKU 77615, which is what I thought I was purchasing.
