I recently purchased this set to use for sca style fighting. When I ordered it I thought I'd take a gamble and see how well this set was. Compared to spending twice as much for mismatched pieces. The shipping claimed it was gonna take close to a month but showed up within a week of ordering it. The set itself is as described full steel with a very nice finish to the set. I was shocked when receiving the item just because I thought no way is a full steel set on 360 bucks, but to my suprise it is an incredibly sturdy and nice looking set of armor. Definitely worth buying!

This weights too much. However, to their credit it does state nine kilos.There is some nice things about this product. For higher quality material not bad for $199. Just be sure if you want this product. So I changed my rating from one to five in that it does state how much it weights. If at party if could be heavy. Thou I get impression this is what it was like to really like to wear. I think it would be better if made from light metal or fiber glass. However, one loses the historical experience then.

It's pretty good quality. Bulkier than I thought it'd be, but nonetheless a great set to own.

This costume armor is stunning. Full metal with leather straps, full size helmet with red "horsehair" (artificial) plume, painted & accessorized gorgeously. When fully strapped in, you look like an official ancient Greek warrior. The plume did require some adjustment and jury-rigging to fit into the helmet correctly, but still looks great. Helmet could also use a chin strap - but a minor issue and one could be made up if needed. Shipped very well with lots of protection and everything arrived undamaged. Looked amazing for the costume party & now have the helmet displayed in my office. A+++

Helmet is designed for someone with a watermelon size head. The cuirass is well designed but it has those stupid nipple and belly button spots even though the picture shows it without. The shield is about as useful as a metal dinner plate. Only handle is two oversized pieces of leather that are not adjustable in any way.Very disappointing I was looking forward to an awesome Halloween costume and now Halloween is Effin ruined! All in all...Ehhhhh

It was supposed to be new but there were dents in it and chipped paint all over. The ornament for the chest doesn't even stay on it. Horrible item. Not worth it unless you pay less than 50 bucks in my opinion. Won't fit anyone unless they are like 6'4" and have a body like the movies.

I was actually surprised by the quality of this suit. The thickness of the leather and the metal exceeded my expectation.

Shipping was good. If you've never dealt with a set of armor before, you might be impressed by this set. The picture is definitely dishonest. Seller obviously didn't care what they were throwing in the box because I got a set that was designed for someone that is much, much larger than an average human being - definitely not the measurements they list for this set. The armor is also not glossy at all. It's just spray painted. Luckily I was able to bend most of it into wearable shape after a great deal of effort. The plume and the helmet are fine but they way they interact is not. The plume rattles around in the helmet and sticks clear out of the casing. I am going to have to spend some time sanding down the casing of the plume and gluing it into place if I don't want to be picking it up all night.The shield is a joke which is a real shame because the addition of the shield is why I bought this set. The shield in the picture is clearly about the size of the torso and the one I received is roughly the size of a dinnerplate.The bracers are completely unwearable. Even the most ripped or fat arms I would imagine would be unable to wear them.I suppose it would be great if I was a professional bodybuilder with freakish proportions and a football-shaped head, but then again I wouldn't be ordering this size if I were.Overall, it's neat for the price but the mediocre product gets a mediocre review.
