I think the padfolio will close all the way properly after a month or two of using it but my fat Lamy Studios wont let it close all the way at the moment. The exterior has a good amount of thickness to it. It doesn't look or feel cheap. It has just enough pockets, unlike other padfolios with 10 different pockets that you don't need. It was a good purchase and I would recommend this to my friends and family with confidence.

I brought this with me to two interviews (& got one of the jobs) and it was great to hold business cards, copies of my resume and a place to take notes. I felt prepared and looked professional. Overall this is great for the price. I find it fairly stiff to work with and there is a small piece of stitching coming undone which is annoying. I plan to use this until I wear it out and hopefully purchase a better quality in the future.

It's very nice, but the spine is very stiff so if you want to flip the cover all the way around you have to carefully work the spine until it softens up. You have to be careful as on mine, the spine would try to bow outward at first, and trying to fold it like this would likely ruin it.After doing that it's a very nice portfolio which I've been using for a few months now. Something I've noticed however is on the bottom of the spine the leather is starting to rip ever so slightly (it's not very much, and it doesn't look like it's going to rip any further, but it's worth noting).

Je voulais un beau porte-tablette (je suis souvent en réunion, avec ma tablette nue à la main) et c'est ce que j'ai eu. Ça parait que ce n'est pas du cuir, mais sinon il est très bien cousu, les reliures sont très belles et ça donne le bel effet professionnel que je recherchais. Donc pour le prix, je suis satisfaite de mon achat.

My portfolio was shipped very quickly and arrived way before it was due. It is a very nice mid brown and the contrast stitching is very even and well done, as is all the stitching throughout. It is true to the pictures on the product listing. The portfolio appears to be very well made, with good heft but not too heavy. The 8.5 x 11 notepad fits perfectly. The leather cover and inside pockets are very even in tone, no scratches or marks, and the leather is very smooth. Overall, a professional looking piece and a very good value. Highly recommended.
