Please do NOT waste your money on a shiny looking plastic box. It has a 3 pot space, BUT you need to buy your own pots. There is not enough space for plants to grow because this product do not use a full internal space as it has individual pot holes in which you drop in your own pot, means less space. The water evaporates fast through pot gaps between these pot and you have to insert a water connector under each plastic pot. It is a self watering plant pot *holder*, you have to provide your own plant pots in addition to this item.In the photos you can see the large holes in the base which means you can't just fill it with soil.You need to add three plant pots as they do not come with this product. This in the instructions that come with the product (see photos). Pots need to be 12cm wide by 10cm deep.For the price you would expect everything you need to be provided, it's not.On the plus side the material quality is very high and they look great. Lovely glossy pure white.

Ich nutze seit vielen Jahren Lechuza und war bislang immer sehr zufrieden. Dieses Teil hier ist allerdings nur ein Blumenbecherhalter. D.h. die Pflanzen bleiben im originalen Einkaufszustand mit Plastikbecher. Da steckt man unten ein Plastikteil mit Schnur rein, bei welcher die Enden nach dem Hineinstellen ins Wasser reichen und so die Pflanze bewässern. Wäre schön, wenn ich was falsch verstanden hätte, aber mehr gibt die Anleitung nicht her. Wenn ich den Plastikbecher von der Pflanze entferne, wird der Wassertank voller Erde, was m.E. auch nicht sein kann/soll.Was das "inkl. Blumenkastenhalterung" bedeuten soll, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Geliefert wird Außenkasten, Inneneinsatz und drei Bewässerungspiekser. Eine Halterung habe ich keine gefunden. Ich wüsste auch nicht wofür die gut sein soll, da ja dabei steht, dass es für Innen gedacht ist. Ich bin das erste Mal von Lechuza enttäuscht.

Bought this as a gift. It looks really smart and tidy on the windowsill and, so far, herbs seem to be surviving longer than normal as they are receiving a steady water supply. It does seem expensive but I haven't found anything else better!

“A little update”“I have been using it for sometime now but my plants got mould of the top of the soil so I have stop filling it up now and just use it as a pot. I just water them when I need. Love the idea but doesn’t work for me”I’ve got this a few weeks ago and my plants are loving life. So easy to assemble and only have to water your plants once a month. What’s not to love.
