My kid loves this book! The illustrations are so colorful and expressive that it's easy for my toddler (three year old) to recognize the different feelings. Sometimes we talk about the different feelings she felt that day as we read the books. She hands me this book sometimes to read to her too because she likes the illustrations so much. I found out about this book from a wonderful family/child therapist (@consciousmommy) on Instagram who had this book on her list of resources. It's been super helpful to navigate her big toddler feelings. Highly recommend.

Honestly, I thought the book would be better after reading the reviews. I mean it explains emotions well enough but I guess I had higher expectations. I did like the pages at the back that explains to parents how to discuss emotions with their kids. The book was in excellent condition

My boys, who just turned 4 and 2, have loved this book since we got a couple months ago. They love imitating the emotions, there are some vibrant but not too over the top illustrations and a lovely rhyme. Would definitely recommend for toddlers and preschoolers.
