I loved the shade it matched my skin and contoured my nose really well it also covered my dark spots!

The brown side is nice and creamy and blends well. I used it to contour my nose, especially for halloween and it turned out well. The light side can look a littttle chalky but overall is ok.

I have a small, about 2"x2"x7" pencil case that I use as my daily minimum makeup bag. I try to get everything in pen form or shape for that back in addition to an eyelash curler. This contour stick fits the bill perfectly and the contour blends like a dream. I am a medium beige skin tone, edging towards olive but with neutral undertones. This gives me a very subtle contour at the cheekbones and has been indispensable for keeping my cheeks from looking to round in photos during my pregnancy and post baby extra pounds and swelling. I don't use the highlight color because I don't really need that function but also, unfortunately it isn't nearly as smooth as the contour color. My concealer blends much better. It's a little cakey IMO and I have good, moisturized skin with a solid multi-step k-beauty skincare routine. I'd imagine it would be even more cakey on someone with dry skin.

I don’t know why I picked up the dark shade of this. Medium would have been SO much better for my skin tone. I’m baffled. Maybe it was not in stock? I don’t know, but last night, me and my daughter made the best of it.We had a little makeup party, and she’s very good at (I’m not 😂) at contouring, and she did both her face and mine. I wished it was summer, as it was very heavy, the color I mean, on our pale skin, but somehow she smoothed it out enough to make it look not AS dark, although medium would have been better, with her blending skills- she pulled it off! She actually gave me a great contour. My nose looked thinner, the tip smaller, and she defined my cheekbones that were hiding somewhere, but I don’t know where for 46 years.. ha. It was super cool!Since I am not that contour savvy, she had to tell me how good or bad this product was, and how it measured up to what she’s used to. I’ve reviewed and ordered Carter beauty products before, and I do REALLY like the brand and their prices, but I’m more of a novice then her, so her opinion meant a lot on this particular product.For spot concealing, this was too dark for that, my fault, but as a contour product, she gives this product 3 and 1/2 stars, rounded up to 4 stars. Not due to the color, due to the texture, value, ease of use, and overall aesthetics post application, and longevity.It looked really good to me, but she’s the more skilled makeup artist, so I will go with her thoughts on this one, but we did look good, despite ordering up the wrong color. I thought the product looked great, and lasted until washed off. She’s more picky because of her experience.I do really like the brand, so between us both, we are rounding this product up to 4 stars for overall quality- value- results! That’s a very good score from someone who does her face contour daily, and uses far higher priced cosmetics then I do.3.5 to 4 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️If she gives me a lesson on this, I’ll buy this in the medium color, and then I could use it on blemishes, too 👍. The product comes wrapped in plastic and sealed but is easy to open. It is double sided with one side the concealer and the other side darker for contour. The product turns to push the concealer and contour up. The tube is a beautiful lavender color with purple font. The tube is so cute and aesthetically pleasing. It stands out amongst my other beauty products. I personally got the light color. I have light/medium skin tone. The concealer is a good light shade for adding dimension to the face. I have not tried to use this to cover up blemishes or under eyes as I use specific products for those. But I use this on my t zone and it lightens up those areas against the contour and adds great dimension. I personally found this product easy to use and it blended out easily and beautifully. My favorite part is the contour side. It’s the perfect shade for me. I love using it for contouring and it glides on smoothly. The actual makeup itself is super soft and lightweight on the skin. I love that this stick is two for one - concealer and contour in both.
