Impressed with the fit and comfort. Nicely put together. I was unable to give 5 stars because a couple of the press fastening studs on the front were a little loose, and therefore the fastened-down front flap can easily partly open - quality control should have picked that up. I've since adjusted the press studs so they're tighter.Nicely waxed and waterproofed, so will test on the next rainy day. Black quilted liner is comfortable and sleeves nicely finished with chord on the inside of the cuff and gathered at the wrist. Looks great and looking forward to wearing it out. Delivery arrived a day earlier than expected and was well packed.

After a lot of searching, I finally decided to buy this jacket, and I'm glad I did. I was concerned over what size to buy based on other reviews and comments. I usually buy a large in coats and jackets. I'm 6' tall and medium build. I went for a large and glad I'm did. The length is perfect and the sleeves are about 1/2 inch past my wrist. Which for me is what I wanted. I know some wax jackets sleeves come up short and go the other way in length. Personal preference there though. Delivered way before the stated date. Overall very pleased and would buy another if every needed. Highly recommended.

Beautiful quality quite heavy cotton, quite a slim fitting I bought large when he normally wears a medium allowing to wear a jumper, but can’t do that, however he loves the fitting so keeping it. It is on the short side too could do with being at least 2” longer.

This is a top quality jacket. Lovely finish, colour is spot on, feels nice and substantial without being bulky.It's a short, casual fit. The arm lengths are great and it sits just below the waist as you'd expect a short, casual jacket..The pockets are for putting stuff in, not really for hands. There a bit high to casually rest your hands in them. And there aren't any other 'hand warmer' type pockets.To be honest, I was after more of a 'coat' for walking in damp/wet weather with pockets for my hands.But this jacket is fabulous, and as it's short, my trouser or shorts pockets are accessible..So I'm definitely keeping it..Might buy a cheap, bigger style coat for walks in very bad weather when a bit more body cover (larger, looser) is needed.

I bought his for dog walking and it served that purpose excellently for a few months . The jacket certainly feels like quality. It is robust, stylish and warm . However the zip is coming away from the jacket which makes the jacket unusable on cold wet days, those being the days it should be most appropriate for. There are a number of reviews saying it is comparable to a Barbour but this is clearly not the case with just a few months use.

This is a really well made jacket, can't fault the quality. Please double check your size, mine was a little snug but not a real problem, I am normally OK with XXL clothing, having a 48" chest, but I am a little plump round the waist, I did order the XXL and found that it was snug on the waist, but maybe I will have to join Boris and loose a little. Anyway, love the jacket 10/10

Received coat today and thought I’d let others buyers know that it now has a tartan lining not black as in the pics. I prefer this to black so really pleased. See my pic. I like it so far.
