I have two of these and they work very well. We have three dogs so there is always dust floating around in the house. If I open up a window and let the sun shine in you can see the dust hanging in the air but once I turn on this air scrubber it is all gone in short order. It is definitely an industrial grade machine and is very solidly built. It is a little loud for a residential application but you can turn it down to a slower speed for a more acceptable noise level. Overall, I like the option of having the extra power when I want it and I definitely like the design. The pre-filters catch most of the dust and are very effective at preserving the life of the HEPA element. This machine DEFINITELY out performs any of the residential models I have owned. Although quiet, those things always seem weak and ineffective. This thing is definitely not weak. It's a monster!

Was just what we've been looking for. We have a salon and laundry room. The dust from the laundry room was our "ground zero" for dust in the business and this virtually eliminated it from the rest of the salon. We are in the space at the time it runs so we can't put it on high as it's a little loud when on max setting.

Can't seem to figure why its not working great for me like the other reviews. So I work with some herbal powder in a small area (10 ft * 8 ft)...the powder is quite fine. There's still a lot of powder in the air - doesn't seem to clear up the air enough.

I have used and continue to use the XPower X-3400A with basement renovation projects. It successfully filtered all of the dust from a tile removal project in a basement and it has cleared the air in a containment section where a concrete saw and jack hammer were used to break through the slab.The separate filters for each particulate size is a great feature. I have yet to need to replace the HEPA filter.

Did the job it was supposed to after we got flooded by Harvey.

We needed to de-dust a job site using a leaf blower and this XPOWER air scrubber. After blowing the rooms, you could not see more than ten feet. This unit completely cleared the air in about ten minuets. We repeated the process about three times per room, plus vacuuming up the heavier dust that fell directly to the floor. Did Four rooms before doing a ten minuet cleaning of the air scrubber, using a small vacuum and some tapping of the filters. Would definitely recommend this product.

It works well, but, the filters are a pretty expensive.
