A People and a Nation, Volume II: Since 1865, Brief Edition

I got this textbook for a required U.S. history class. it's okay. it has the information you need for class and to learn the basics, so it's thorough, but I was surprised at how mediocre it was for a textbook. by that I mean, there are tons of typos! not sure how there are so many writers and people who worked on it and this still got published with so many typos. it's pretty noticeable as a student who has to read all of this. I'm on chapter 22 and I've seen at least 10 typos. some of them are minor ("bur" instead of "but") but some of them are a lot more noticeable and make it more confusing. for example, writing a sentence incorrectly, so it doesn't end up making sense, and it's difficult to decipher the meaning based on the context clues only. I could have done a better job than whatever editors worked on this before publishing.... but besides that, it's a decent textbook that covers a wide variety of information and does its job for classes.

I need this for school. Does me just fine for an online class.
