I've broken quite a few French press coffee makers over the years, and I wanted to avoid plastic in any form, so I gave this a go. I think press coffee makers are generally the best tasting, and this is in keeping with that.Pros: well built, filter works well and is snug to the carafe. Keeps coffee warmer longer than a regular glass carafe. I love the metal handle -- I can flip it and clean out the grounds quickly. I would say it's the best one I've owned. And it was a reasonable value to boot.Not really a con, but while it will keep your coffee warmer, longer, not for hours, because the lid isn't vacuum sealed. That makes sense, and no one promised me a thermos.It's a keeper. And with the durability, I look forward to having it for a long time.

I wanted to throw in my two cents on this item. First off this is a great press. It looks great, the stainless in great, it keeps coffee hot and the spout is excellent! The spout is my favorite thing, excellent pour! Idk what people are doing to make the coating crack.... That is crazy. Maybe they are just pouring straight up boiling water into or all over the press. To make a proper coffee it is not supposed to be boiling anyway. I have had this press for over a month now and no issue! I will say the coating is kind of cheap. You can see on the bottom of the press the coating has chipped from it being moved around on the counter. But definitely no cracking or anything serious. Also, there was a complaint about the top not sealing, my photo addresses the fix on that. Lastly, the filer screens are the best I've seen on a press! No worries about buying this press, get it!

Due to the versatility of the french press design, I bring mine with me pretty much everywhere. I use it at home almost daily, I use it on road trips, and I take it camping. I originally had a cheap french press from IKEA. While I loved using it, the glass carafe just wasn't very durable and I broke two over the course of a year. There's nothing worse than having shattered glass and boiling hot liquid everywhere - before you even have your first cup of coffee!In my search for a product that was just as versatile but much more durable than the glass ones I was used to, I came across this french press. Yes, it costs a bit more, but it's a quality product and feels very well built. I have no doubts that this will last me much longer than the old french press that I loved so much. As a bonus, the lid and strainer from my old IKEA presses are actually the same diameter as this stainless carafe. I held onto them, although I doubt I'll need them any time soon.I've had very good luck with this product over the last month or so that I've been using it. Every cup of coffee is just as great as the last. It's easy to clean and easy to use. Others have complained about the black paint peeling off, but I haven't had any issues. This may simply be due to the fact that I hand wash my dishes or maybe that I just haven't had it long enough for the paint to break down? In any case, I'm not worried about it. Even if that happens the product will remain fully functional. My only complaint is that there are no markings on the inside for how much coffee to put in. I may scribe a line inside the carafe so that I don't have to bring a measuring cup with me when I go camping. This is more of just a personal preference though and doesn't impact the functionality of the product, so I don't feel that it's worth docking a star for.If you're thinking about getting this because you keep breaking the glass ones, this is the solution. My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner. It really is a great product.

Purchased "Used Like New" Came sans manufacturers box (bubble wrap/ a lot of packing tape) and all the extras were included (filters, spoon) Coffee pot was scratched near the lip but IMO, 0 issues w. order.Washed immediately, put it to work! Sleek, clean design. Lid fits so-so but does NOT come off when pouring... arrow indicating "pour" is nice. NO grounds in our coffee or bottom of cups. Coffee was delish, stays hot (not hrs) but pretty decent. My husband goes for French press coffee over perked if I have both ready! Once you try a quality French press - makes drip coffee taste like scorched gas station sludge. lol!!!Decided to purchase 2nd press for a wedding gift - not so great experience. None of the extras were in the pkg, pot was quite scratched. Returned. Ah well... Very happy w. 1st press! Overall, I'd recommend.

Very well made! Solid stainless, double walled ,so stays plenty hot. Very pleased and would totally buy it again. Love it!

Bought this for camping but it is a durable and very well built coffee press, worth the extra dollars, looks beautiful and works beautifully. Coffee stays super hot and it’s big enough to fill 2 large coffee mugs. Could not be happier with it.

Tiene muy buen diseño, los materiales son resistentes y con el doble filtro pasa solamente el grano muy fino.

This is a very good quality french press. We use it daily and it's nice and sturdy, and because it's insulated, it keeps the coffee hot for a decently long time. I highly recommend this french press.

Upgraded from the usual glass press as they constantly broke on me after a couple of uses, this press seems well made and stylish. Impressed.
