These things are extremely well made! They have 5 strong spikes that keep it from wobbling even in 50 mile-an-hour wind like we had several weeks ago in the desert. We use it in sandy soil and it was easy to install using just my feet (no hammer). Will likely need a rubber mallet in clay or hard soil.

Missing 1 section of pole. Five sections plus hook and base for 1 pole and only 4 sections for the other pole. Would like company to send extra section to me.

Let me start by saying, I've orded these Shepherds hooks 3 times. I love the height, love the price, love the fast delivery. One Shepherds hook this height would cost you more than this pair. You can't tell , unless your close up, that these hooks are in sections. I obviously love them except, even with 4 prongs, they bow forward as soon as you water your baskets or bow almost to the ground with a storm and heavy weight. That being said, I still bought 3 sets and will most likely buy another. I purchased fence posts, sprayed them black, and used them for extra stability for the pole. I don't have the same problems with shorter Shepherds hooks so I think it has to do with the height. If your planning on hanging flower baskets, I highly suggest you do the same. The weight is just too heavy without extra support. I did deduct 1 star for that but as I stated early on, I've bough 3 sets already so obviously the pros outweigh the cons. ♡

These are strong, sturdy and reliable. I love that they have stood through some rough winds and rain. They are incredibly well made. They were actually a bit taller than I needed so I removed an attachment but it has held up and held my lanterns with ease. Assembly was a breeze and they really take hold once put into the ground.

First the positive. The poles are fairly sturdy and the bird feeders fit nicely on them. The bad? Within a year, they began rusting at the joints. I figure they'll last another couple of years at most.

I needed a shepherd’s crook that was at least 7 feet tall above ground. It advertised as 92 inches. Even taking six inches for the below ground part, it is not even close. It may be 6 ft tall once in the ground, at the most.

We purchased the 92" Shepard's Hooks (2 sets of 2ea) to see if they are sturdy enough to hold the weight we wanted to hang. We received the hooks in a very short period of time and we were extremely pleased with the construction and the easy of assembly. The sectional threaded post make it easy to adjust the height to the level we wanted and the 5 prong base gave outstanding stability in the ground.Needless to say the post are hooks are performing extremely well and we are extremely happy with our purchase.When we need more we will buy this product again.

The pieces have threading to connect them together. They can be attached firmly. If you need the shepherd hook pole to be shorter than the full size, you can leave one or more of the straight pieces out. Don't forget to follow directions and "Operation Tips" included with the shepherd hooks.

I ordered your Shepherd’s hook for my wife’s plants. Your helpful brochure with the product advise about writing you if I had issues and also to Amazon. Am writing to Amazon and you both: had/have issues - this is a MOST wonderful concept, particularly the ability to have different heights and so easy to set up and both stand have been exceptionally sturdy. Arrived on time, very easy assembly and good quality product. Paint looks like it may chip as seasons change (it’s just starting to at the seams) but overall very pleased with the value/purchase.

Bent over and are close to breaking within 18 months of purchase.To light weight for a planter or bird feeder steel bends at ground level and can't straighten for fear of snapping completely.Disappointed
