Having been a keen photographer since my early teens, I have always ensured that either a UV filter is fitted to the front of my lens, either to block unwanted ultra violet rays or to protect the front element of my lenses from dust, rain or an accidental drop. The filter itself is very well made and very slim; you'd hardly notice it's fitted at all if it wasn't for the gold accented pinstripe painted around it which, incidentally, matches the gold pinstripe on my Nikon lenses. Overall, I'm very pleased with this UV filter and for the price it's simply superb. Highly recommended.

A UV filter cuts out harsh UV light and enhances your photographs. It is also used as protection for the delicate optics of the lens its attached too. It wont protect against being dropped or make it waterproof, but it will keep dust out and fingerprints away.The MC brand is a very cost effective and practical way to protect the lens and boost the image quality. Out of the box, it is light weight and has a very thin profile that allows the lens cap to fit snugly.Used on indoor shots, there is no real noticeable difference to images. Outside shooting however shows this little filter is just as good as some of the branded established makes. I took several shots with and without the filter of the sky. Without the filter, the sky was bright, clouds hazy and undefined. With the filter attached, the sky was softer and clouds had more definition and colour variation.For the money, this is a cracking little filter. The filter ring is metal, the lens is glass and it does what it should.p

I have a new very sharp f2.8 lens with a large front element, I wanted to protect it with a good quality filter that would not result in a loss of image quality. I cannot detect any image quality loss with this filter fitted. It seems to be very well made and is very slim. Not the decisive feature but the smart gold band around the side looks smart and matches my Nikon filling lenses. I recommend these filters for the price, arrived quickly also.

For this price point I’m astonished how well it is made. You cant Afford not to buy this product.If you need to protect your lens this is the one for you. No issues with image quality at all zero. I use kase filters circular magnetic.Since the kase uv filter is over £100. And this one is under £10 and super slim does not effect the usability of the kase filter system.Just pop this uv filter on and add the kase adapter ring and off you go.Again this is supper thin. And much thinner than the image shown on the listing....

I bought this to protect my lens from scratches and also from UV lights. This filter seem tone well made from metal and it also has a nice golden ring round it. Makes it look expensive. The glass looks good. I am totally happy with it. A this price it is a bargain.
