These were great for working around thorny plants and trees. I couldn't find thornproof gloves that were long enough for the job. I had two huge holly trees cut down and needed to prep and haul them for disposal. These protected me from all the nasty cuts and punctures holly leaves will cause even through a long sleeved shirt. They also worked well for pruning and discarding the clippings of rosebushes, blackberries and brambles. Note: They will not protect you from cacti or a tree such as Hawthorn. They are unexpectedly cool in hot and humid weather, and they don't stick to one's arms as shirts will. The length was perfect, covering my arm fully. Upper arm opening slightly too wide for me, used a safety pin – perfect. FYI: I'm a 6' female with a slim build. Highly recommended.Only one complaint: They don't make pants! My legs got very scratched up, even in standard outdoor (cotton not canvas) work pants.

Was comfortable and cooler for the head.

My husband likes to do everything himself around the garden and yard. trimming shrubbery, etc. He's on medication that makes his skin bleed easily. After multiple abrasions on his arms I mentioned to him that there ought to be something that we could buy to stop this damage to his skin. He remembered welding sleeves. I searched and found them! Work like a charm, although they can get hot in the summer. He has to wear them when doing household repair jobs too. Never know when you might rub up against something abrasive or scratchy.

They work well, easy to put on and do the job, good value for the money, are comfortable, not to hot considering you are welding !

Had for two weeks and like them so far.(I work in structural and custom fab, mobile + shop welding as well as welding classes. )They are a little tight but should hold up.Work great for me and got them because I was tired of burning my left arm.

These protectors are a heavy duty material that can protect your arms. I bought them to protect my arms from the sun but I returned them due to small size for my large arms.

Good quality welding sleeves with a lot of room,not to tight and comportable to wear.
