This strip seems to work
One of the criteria for this rating is Accuracy. That is hard to say since I have nothing to compare it against. It seems to work. I hope the reading is correct.

It works
Got this to test water hardness at home and it works. Will use it in our camper while on trips to test water where we set up just to see its condition and give me some idea as to when to change out my filters. It’s not made for that but I’ve got them so why not use em.

Test Color on Strip does not match bottle comparison color.
Like the ease of use. Color of strips does not match colors on bottle so much guessing is required to determine what level you reading is really at. Not accurate enough for me!!

Does what it's supposed to
The strips are really easy to use and let me know when I have to force my water softener to reset.

Never new water quality was that bad here.
I've come from countries that uses German Degrees of Hardness (dH) to measure water hardness. recently my dad said to me, man you can really notice the difference between desalinated water (tested at dh 0 or around 12 ppm) and a dh of 2-3, still classed as very soft in the UK.While I knew the water hardness was higher here, I hadn't expected the level of difference. When he came over he basically said the same thing (though including the higher noticeable chlorine taste) so went to test, the water coming from my taps were at the high end of Medium water hardness level or a dh of 11-12 according to the litmus paper (If i remember my chemistry terms correctly).Never thought it was this bad in the parts where I live in the UK. I would've been happy with just a few of these testing papers, but been having fun in testing every now and then. as well as testing water my water jug filter does to the water hardness. Almost felt like I'm back in one of those fun chemistry classes.

Tried as a comparison to premium brands
Wanted to compare to ones which give you less strips for twice the money - and these were great. They worked, were just as accurate, and a million times cheaper.
