The finish was shockingly poor. There were many, large air bubbles between the protective outer coating and the painted metal beneath. This could not have been missed by even the most cursory quality control check.

Ich war mir nicht sicher, ob dieses kleine Teil meinen riesigen Monsterdeckel sicher hält - aber es tut es! Ich bin begeistert. Der grosse Deckel hält sicher sowohl auf links wie auch auf rechts.Das Teil ist schön klein, so dass es nicht viel Platz braucht, aber es ist sehr massiv und stabil.Sogar mit kleinen Gummifüssen und einer cleveren Einlegeschale, die nach dem Kochen blitzschnell abgespült ist.Das Problem mit so grossen Deckeln ist ja, dass wenn man sie beim Kochen mal wegnehmen muss und umgekehrt ablegen will (damit nicht alles versifft), man sich dabei die Hände verbrennt. Aber mit diesem Teil ist das Problem gelöst, würde es nicht mehr hergeben.Was andere Leute schon bemängelt haben ist, dass wenn man ganz genau hinschaut, die Oberfläche des Lacks nicht überall ganz perfekt bzw. eben ist. Obwohl selbst Perfektionist, habe ich damit absolut kein Problem.Ich liebe das Teil und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Für unsere Küche habe ich eine Möglichkeit gesucht, einen Kochlöffel ablegen zu können, ohne jedes Mal die Arbeitsplatte zu beschmutzen. Dafür ist der Kochlöffelhalter super geeignet. Bisher passen alle unsere Kochutensilien hinein.Die Auffangschale ist herausnehmbar. Allerdings ist sie auch aus einem extrem schmutzabweisenden Kunststoff gefertigt, der sich sehr einfach reinigen lässt. Spült man den Halter nach dem Kochen einfach kurz mit warmem Wasser ab, reicht das augenscheinlich völlig aus.Der Halter ist auch schwer genug und hat gummierte Füße, sodass er sicher steht.Einzig der Preis ist etwas abschreckend, allerdings konnte ich noch keine Alternative finden.Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Item is shockingly small, although it seems reasonably sturdy. From the website pictures, I expected a tool that would easily accommodate a ladle, utility spoon, and a pot lid. However, at best, this will only accommodate a lid and probably a utility spoon. Item also shows signs of wear. The finish is shiny in some places and matte and or scratched in other areas. $37.00 plus taxes is unjustifiable. I am very disappointed.

This is just one of those smart products you like having in your kitchen, It takes up less of a footprint on the counter then those spoon rest ladles but this does so much more. It can be used as a rest for a dirty ladle or spoon, You can rest a hot pot lid in it while your stirring the contents, and you can also use it to cradle an iPad or tablet while you're looking at the recipe. Since its designed in Japan you can even rest your chopsticks in it!
