I ordered this toy for my two indoor kittens. I was not home when it was delivered and the envelope that it came in was left on my front balcony. I came home to find FIVE very happy (stoned?) stray cats lounging around on my balcony. The envelope was shredded and bits of paper and plastic were plastered with kitty drool everywhere. I've never even seen 2 of the cats, before, and the others I've only seen at a distance in the parking lot! The toy was slobber-logged but was surprisingly undamaged when I tossed it in to the bushes downstairs for the strays to keep. I've never had this problem with catnip toy deliveries before which says a lot for the silvervine/catnip mix in this toy :)

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve stopped counting cat toys at this point. My cat goes through so many and he is extremely hard on them. He loves all things “From the Field.” I love how safe they are for him to play with. They are also durable, and not overpriced for the value. I typically purchase some of the other tots, but decided to try a new one. He carries this boot around with him. These are some of the few toys my previous cat would even play with. My current cat is 3 1/2 and my last cat played with them even at 15.

My cats love their From The Field toys and this sock toy was no exception. As soon as I took it from the package my cat took it from me and began to roll around, rubbing the sock toy on their face and licking it till it was soaking wet. It’s now been a week and they still will pounce and play with the toy all on their own. The toy seems to be really well made, the fabric is durable and the seams are nicely sewn so even a feisty kitty can’t break it open. It’s also fully stuffed with catnip, no fluff or stuffing, which means it’s super potent and great bang for your buck. Our previous From The Field toy (that came in the bucket of catnip) has been our cats favorite catnip toy for the past 8 months so i’m very pleased to know they last for quite some time.

The media could not be loaded.  My cats have enough toys but silver vine was recommended to me as a catnip alternative, so I tossed it in with one of my Amazon orders. The cats immediately let me know that this toy was the BEST. All three took turns drooling and rolling around with the sock -- my black cat got a contact high from just from her brother kicking it around before she took a turn on the vine train. They don't react to it as strongly as the first time (always chasing the dragon...) but it definitely still gets played with.The material it's made out of is very tough and has survived months of chewing without a single speck of silver vine escaping. It's covered it gross drool stains but hey, it's not my toy and the cats don't seem to care.

Joe is 11 yrs old and doesn't care about catnip or toys in general, but he took right to this sock. He slobbered all over it and is now snuggling it. It makes my heart happy to see my cat respond to the toy. Humans love to give their feline friends catnip. It feels special. Now Joey has his special toy. We're happy.

I gave this product 2 stars as my cat has zero interest in it. This is surprising as she loves anything with catnip. I removed it from sealed package and showed it to my 3 year old cat. She walked away and despite my attempts to engage her in play with it, she still shows no interest. The one positive is that it is stitched well and fabric is thick.

Fantastic product. My cats managed to get this toy out of the packaging while I was putting away other items. I'm not sure what type of catnip is in it, but it's strong and effective! Or, maybe that’s the silvervine mixed with the catnip that they like. There's buckwheat filler in the toy that gives it a nice crunch when they chew on it. The fabric (hemp?) is super for them to sink both teeth and claws into it. They've played with this toy for about a month, and they haven't tired of it! They're still chewing away. When they do, the reaction is a bit like giving a caffeine addict starting the day a triple espresso. After a bit, they calm down into a relaxed state. I strongly recommend this toy! I’ve given it as a gift to friends with cats and they’ve loved it, too.

Great product. Will definitely buy again. Silvervine is a hit! Catnip sensitive cat lost her mind n was completely over the moon with this. Non-catnip sensitive cat was mildly interested but that's about it. So this stuff is strong but may be related to catnip or work similarly. Really happy kitty! This now is on my regular schedule to order. Good value.
