Very happy with the ease of installation! Husband just stained and clear-coated our steps; they are beautiful so we didn't want to cover up all the hard work, but they are also a little slippery. These treads are about my hand-width and almost as long as each step, so they were perfect. Super easy to stick down and roll out air bubbles with the included roller tool. I was even able to reposition one that I put on a little bit wonky and it stuck back down. I don't know how many times you would be able to do that before losing the stickiness, but it worked out for my mistake. The grippy texture does make it translucent rather than perfectly clear, but that's okay because we don't want anyone to slip and fall. They do not detract from the overall appearance of the steps. Great product.

These were easy to apply. Were repositionable enough to adjust as needed to get them straight. However if the backing paper folds back onto the adhesive side it sticks and the paper won’t come off so ruined a tread that way. I got these so my dogs don’t slip on the stairs and they work well.

Got these after our dog slipped onthe new Vynial floors was installed. They adheard good even after placing and repositioning twice. They are not clear, more translucent which you can still see them on the steps. The dogs go down the stairs better and it give a nice grip in socks or bare feet with out being to rough.

Very good product. I installed on the edge of all my stairs.

Installed these on polyurethane coated pine stairs. You can see them, but just barely. Easy to install but there were no instructions. I left mine laying flat for a few days so they were easier to stick on (they come in a roll in a box). They work great and there’s no slipping anymore.

These are pretty narrow so you have to decide what portion of the step needs the most protection or even buy 2 sets of these. I did not use the enclosed roller which meant I had bubbles. Important to know about these, I put one a step for about 2 weeks to see if I would like these and here are my thoughts:1) it does not protect enough of the step I would need 2 on each step and my step is standard size about 28”x 10”.2) they start to yellow see picture on the left compared to the right.3) these are the gift that will keep giving once u pull this up there is no more adhesive because most of it remains on the step thank goodness it wiped off easily I just had my stair treads installed and when I saw the glue I panicked. Long term use could be a problem especially if you have to remove one for some reason or they become unavailable like many things on Amazon does.4) if you have pets they will attract the pet hair.5) they sort of remind me of the plastic over your grandmas couch they don’t seamlessly blend in I wish I thought to take a picture of that.Overall unlike washable carpet treads I think having these may cost more in the long run. Don’t get me wrong when they stick they stick not much margin for error which made me give adhesion at least 2 stars. Good or bad they stick. Again I didn’t find them to be very sheer, but I did not use the inclosed roller as the initial presentation of the product made me want to return it.
