I was happy with the color of the stain, trying to get it as close to the color her mom was put in. She was small dog weighting less than 5 lbs. You can't open it from the top which was something I would had looked at first before purchasing. You open from bottom and closes with sliding wood with small screw. Perfect urn for small dog and looks good on mantel

We bought the wooden PCS box for the ashes of our beloved dog, Bear.It has a panel on the bottom that's easy to open and a small screw to secure it shut.We recommend this cremation box to anyone who wants a beautiful container for their precious dog or cats ashes.

Nice little box for my bubby’s ashes, and the color is a pretty deep brown, almost like an oak without much texture. And his collar and a couple of other items fit in there too. He was a medium sized cat. I think the tiny little screw w/ hole will get stripped with time (I open it frequently because I sprinkle his ashes in my flowers and plants), so I leave it unscrewed and the sliding mechanism is secure enough since it’s just sitting there.It’s a nice little box to memorialize your furry loved one.But it’s Amazon and inexpensive so it’s not going to be the sturdiest. If I were going to move or travel with it, I would definitely wrap it to secure and protect it.
